Okay, so I took another stupid escort quest like an idiot. These have to be the worst things in the game. Is there any way to get to the Shadow Fort without
alerting the dragon?

Finally got my pawn to pretty much where I want him after maxing out all vocations. Decided I'd have him set as a ranger. He's currently using the "Noble Limbs" longbow, there's gotta be a better one than that right?

There's at least one better one that you can buy in Everfall
Is it a waste to upgrade a weapon or armor to one or two stars if the three star option is available?
Ingle? I always figured it was best to spam higher-tier spells like Bolide. Are there any numbers floating around?
Sorry for the late reply, I just woke up. I mean best because it's a very fast, homing, long ranged, low level spell that knocks down and has splash damage. Also almost everything before tainted mountain is weak to fire. I can forsee myself almost relying solely on it for a solo mage/sorc.
So far the mage solo has been pretty tricky... I got absolutely freakin' owned in the well. And even the early gob-mobs are able to swarm you. It's very challenging so far. You have to be really careful not to draw too many toward yourself. Fortunately, as an unforeseen bonus, playing solo means you can actually buff your own weapon. So having the fire enchantment on the staff has been very helpful.
You can buff yourself even with pawns, when you're casting the buff, click the LS.
Oh really? Huh... pretty sure I tried this once and it didn't work. Must have messed it up. I use L3 for most of the magic too.
Anyway, good to know, thanks.
I was fighting an armored cyclops on a cliff side path last night when I managed to get him to stumble off and fall to his death by breaking his armor.
Pretty sure that's been the best "Holy shit this game" moment so far.
so about arrows with status effects, Is there any way to tell which one works on a monster or not beforehand? I was fighting that drake thingy that uses magic in everfall, silencer arrows actually worked on it though for a short time, now I imagine if I shoot the Goat's head on the GoreChimera it will stop healing for a while? or is it immune? gonna try this next time, I have lots of trouble fighting those still :\
and
any tips for the Hydra? I die so fast here :|
Do you know if you can charge your staff while levitating? I can imagine running away from most fights actually.

I am a lvl 10 strider with buyers remorse. I haven't progressed very far in the story yet, am i close to being able to change jobs to a wizard? I've only been to two places so far, the starting town and fort.
Also, i wish there were fast travel
also like below, i'm going to accumulate a ton of stuff/junk in my trunk.

Can anyone tell me if goblins hate fire?
They do. Burn them alllll. Can anyone tell me if goblins hate fire?

So what happens to the items in a pawn's inventory when I dismiss them? Gone forever? This particular pawn I'm ditching isn't a player one I don't think, it's the one that joined me when I left the starting village.
Rook? I'd say that was the most intelligent Pawn I've met so far. But yeah, if you dismiss them, everything ends up in your storage. If you equip another player created pawn with a weapon or armor, the game tells you that you will lose it forever. This particular pawn I'm ditching isn't a player one I don't think, it's the one that joined me when I left the starting village.
Everything that you haven't "given" to the pawn goes to item storage when they're dismissed.
So if you equip something on the pawn, you're giving that to the other player... but otherwise... anything they pick up or you have them hold onto will go to storage.
Ok so basically just un-equip any gear I may have them wear. That's good to know ahead of time. This guy was just carrying a ton of items for me though so I guess it's all safe.
THEY ARE MASTERWORKS, ALL. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
Or.
AT MASTERWORK'S WHORE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
That wasn't really a fight. Make sure you visit Cassardis again to get some quests. After each main story mission, a lot of side-quests are unlocked which can be easily missed.Jesus christ I find a quest giver to rest for the night and I'm attacked by a goddamn. I can't even get a night's rest in this game! Great fight though, even with the sloppy climbing mechanics.hydra
This post brought us victory. So I just made it to the post-game.
The path splits here, so I want to be doubly sure of which will take me to my destination of completing this game. Now, are the monsters in the fields weaklings still or will they hold the advantage? I tried The Everfall (underneath Gran Soren, the beating heart of all Gransys), and although there is strength in numbers, I am losing my head. I'm almost to the point of becoming mad with rage, but alas with all the masterworks in my inventory, I feel like I can't go wrong at least trying to push through the Everfall.
I'd imagine one would never grow tired of this game, but I just have no idea where to start.

Witchwood is such an amazing place.
Witchwood and Wilted forest are my favourite locations. Actually the game world is a lot bigger than it seems when you truly explore every nook and cranny.Witchwood you say? I have you covered. Witchwood mixed with Ogre climb from another location.
