Is the game even good? Are the actors doing the voices?

If its Via Domus then no (on both counts). I think a few actors did but I might be wrong there.

The actors for Ben Linus (Michael Emerson), Sun (Yunjin Kim), Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick), Claire (Emilie de Ravin), Tom (M. C. Gainey) and Mikhail Bakunin (Andrew Divoff) all provided voice work for the game, while the rest of the major characters are provided by stand-ins.

That's it. I remember laughing at Locke's voice.

It has the most hilariously bad Locke impersonator ever.

damn its 250 bones now.. lol

I wanted it so bad but I'm glad I didn't get it now. I'm waiting a couple more years until I re-watch again. Still too fresh.

I actually enjoyed Via Domus...it was a terrible game, but it was a fun LOST adventure (when it wasn't horrible).

The ending was a WTF mindfuck, but I liked it more for it.

What wasn't idiotic, then?
Maybe stuff like this:

... but I can't think of anything else right off the bat...

His point is that those things don't matter.

And he's absolutely right.

All we need to know is that Libby was married, and she lost him and went a little bananas over it. And when she recovered, she met Desmond and gave him his boat.

That's all the effect her husband had on the show. I guess they should have spent an hourlong flashback on it.

No, for the third time, that's the only non-idiotic point I remember from that article.
The rest of the article is moronic Lost apologism.

I know. I misread it originally.

I didn't think it was moronic at all. The magic thing is an easy way out, but it's the truth. The breakdown of the College Humor stuff is also true, it's nitpicking for no fucking reason.

The only two things that will ever get a question video like that is LOST and Prometheus...had Lindelof not been a part of Prometheus, it wouldn't have gotten it either.

The world wants to hate Lindelof (well, half the world).

"Easy way out", indeed. Point is, it's shitty writing.
"A wizard did it." Gee, thanks, Lost Answers dude. You sure are doing a great job defending the show.

Not all of it, far from it.

The only two things that will ever get a question video like that is LOST and Prometheus...had Lindelof not been a part of Prometheus, it wouldn't have gotten it either.
Well, maybe it wouldn't have been such a mess, yeah. But apparently, that's not what you mean by that...

The world wants to hate Lindelof (well, half the world).
Such bullshit. Lost and Prometheus get criticized because they're very poorly conceived / written, and that's all there is to it.

I know it sounds crazy, but some still think the show is actually good!
Clearly, something has to be done.

As much as I support what you're doing here, that's going way too far. Lost is an enjoyable watch. The show is massively flawed and the "Best show ever" crowd should watch a TV show other than Lost, but it's still good. Good doesn't have to mean that it's the best written show with the most thought out mythology out there. I love Doctor Who, but that show also has a million things wrong about it. Not recognizing them is one thing, but you can enjoy a show despite them.

Feel free to yell at the people claiming incredible depth in the story of Lost or whatever, but people are allowed to say they enjoyed it. If they enjoyed it because the story was so well thought out from the start of the show then sure, those people are insane, but the basic premise of "The show is good" is completely valid.

Like I said, I was joking. I didn't think that kind of exaggeration could be taken entirely seriously.

Frankly, considering how dreadful the writing was, I'm not sure how it could be said to be "good"...

people are allowed to say they enjoyed it.
Sure. Even I enjoyed (mocking) it.

I’ve started a rewatch with 4 of my friends a couple months ago, one has never seen it before, so that's fun. Usually watching 3-4 episodes once a week, just started Season 2, up to episode 4 - Orientation. It’s awesome how some moments still create so much tension even after knowing how they’re going to play out. After the Swan computer was accidentally shot, there’s a part of my brain that was like “oh shit, what the hell is going to happen if they don’t fix this thing.” And that episode has such a great early series scene, with Locke and Jack arguing about pressing the button.

Locke: If it's not real, then what are you doing here, Jack? Why did you come back? Why do you find it so hard to believe?
Jack: Why do you find it so easy?
Locke: IT’S NEVER BEEN EASY.

Corny out of context, but the chemistry between the actors allowed them to get away with a lot of cheesy dialogue and make it effective. The conversations between Locke and Jack have always been the highlight of the show, for me. Miss this show!

I guess not. But I think I made it clear multiple times that I was criticizing the writing.

Sounds like a pessimistic take to me.

The only thing you've seemed to make clear, to me, is that you judge people based on their opinions of a television show, and tell them that their opinion is, in a nutshell, shit. The fact that you can't get over that suggests you have some deeply seeded obsession with the show that may not be healthy, lol.
