Lupin the Third - Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna 9
I have a feeling catching up on this will cause me a lot of pain.
So why are you oh wait I am in AnimeGAF.
You need to power up!I always finish what I start.
I'm a freaking shounen character.
I hope you're serious about the better part, because I thought I was the only one with that opinion.
I am sorry. I am actually a lying liarI will look into it. I needed some none super serious buffers after watching Evangelion.
You need to power up!
I'm hoping to watch and write my thoughts of the second (final) volume today, but we'll see how that goes.
Does the manga branch off more into character interactions or any additional stuff? I know I only briefly covered episodes 2, 3, and 4, but it felt like the focus was pretty strongly placed on telling the central plot.
I am sorry. I am actually a lying liar![]()
The mistake you made was trusting anyone to begin with.
Hey, I'm not the one implying that low-budget animation = bad! If you're flipping tables, you're the one subconsciously making that association and maybe you need to reevaluate what you truly think about M+H deep in your heart!
Don't read this, SDBurton! It's better not knowing in advance.
I power upduring boring training arcswhile watching boring slice-of-life shows.

I did already haha. Will I be fine just watching that episode or should I watch all of it?
in DTL's manga.
It took me ages to work out where I had heard the performer and style of the Jinnuri ED: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHuRBuiL4Bc before. I didn't check ANN because, you know, that's cheating, although I eventually worked out that it's the same person as the Azumanga Daioh OP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z49kzOQkjw
Moyashimon is good stuff regardless and you'll have the advantage of being able to watch Moyashimon Returns with everyone this season if you catch up. Get on it!
Not even worth it in this case!

I don't know whether I should be hoping that I'm one of his favorite characters or not.
Beach episode wasn't bad. The jokes weren't really all that bad, at the very least somewhat tame. I did enjoy the dating sim and BL bit they did.
Holy crap. Well, I think I'll gladly stick with the 7 episode series instead, hahaha. It's both, but it's also over 400 chapters, and as you would expect, the anime covers VERY little of that.
Do you not want to be "epic" and "compelling"?
Heck, even "funny" when a bamboo stick censors you at the hot springs!
I just don't want to be in one of his avatars.
Let this be a lesson to you all.

Good thing he doesn't draw them.I just don't want to be in one of his avatars.
True. But FLCL wouldn't have been possible without digital.
I'm so ignorant, I didn't even know that Disney's productions starting in the 90's were all digital. Ghost in the Shell definitely looks better than Disney's output at the time.Well, FLCL wasn't just Gainax, remember! Even before FLCL, Production IG was pushing technology in anime. Most people aren't aware of this, but the entirety of Ghost in the Shell is digital. All of the animation and backgrounds were done on paper, scanned, and then composited digitally -- much like today's workflow. I guess the reason most people don't know it's digital is because it was printed to film for storage and has all the look of film with the gate weave and grain -- perhaps large scale digital storage wasn't viable back then. Ghost in the Shell also does a lot of camerawork and such that wouldn't be possible without digital, like that reverse zoom with the city in the background at the beginning with Motoko was apparently not possible with traditional cel camerawork. That's a pretty clever and important shot too, but it wouldn't have happened without digital!
Jin-Roh and Blood TLV were also produced this way -- not sure of any others though. Blood even has a thing on the Blu-ray where you can choose to watch the direct digital transfer or a telecine transfer from the printed film master.
Good thing he doesn't draw them.
Shounen heroes with giant breasts?Indeed.
A DTL + Chet Rippo fusion would bring about the end of AnimeGAF as we know it.
Shounen heroes with giant breasts?
You're really selling the series to me now. Sadly I will never have the necessary free time to spend indulging in it.
They're called pecks, from what I understand.Shounen heroes with giant breasts?
Shounen heroes with giant breasts?
Reminds me too much of Medaka...such a terrible character, ugh.
In reality, Rahxephon is okay but it's no Evangelion.
firehawk12, marry me already!
I even bake chocolate chip cookies.
you're missing out, brah

Sadly, it's not so much a choice-thing as a "I literally don't have the time" thing. Such is life.
True, at it's core RahXephon is a love story.Well, they're actually trying to tell two very different types of stories, despite all the ridiculously obvious parallels and similarities. Rahxephon doesn't focus as much on untreated psychological trauma, which makes Evangelion more draining to watch regardless of its superior direction and execution.
You certainly have plenty of time to post here, though.Sadly, it's not so much a choice-thing as a "I literally don't have the time" thing. Such is life.
You really are not missing out on that much.
