I don't know how common this is, but a few people earlier in the thread were saying that sometimes the free three day shipping from Newegg shows up day one. Fingers crossed!

I think it depends on how close you are to one of their distribution centers and when they send it.

I know I received InFamous 2 on Release Date. I'm in Philly and one of their centers is in Edison, NJ. So, definite YMMV on this.

Hopefully Amazon ships out my order soon, I am not a fan of the 2-day shipping being the release day shipping. At least in the past it was like clockwork, card got charged in the morning day before release and I would get shipping notice at night. Now they have gone and added an extra layer of uncertainty to it all.
