Persona 4: Arena |OT| Midnight's Just Around The Corner

Playing with pads make my hands hurt but I'm hell of a lot more accurate with them.

What I really want is a hitbox

Why in the hell would you ever want something as janky looking as that.

So I ground out the last 6 hours of Catherine because I was gonna sell it today, but I dunno now. That game was so good, probably top 3 of the generation. A few hiccups in design towards the end, but overall really satisfying.

I still can't believe you want to turn in that AND Dark Souls!

Dunno, can't stand that button layout for the directional inputs.

If the directional inputs looked like WASD then you wouldn't be able to put all your fingers on every direction comfortably. When I play fighting games with a keyboard I use a layout like that too.

So how is this game? Is it execution heavy?

In Blazblue, the only character I got good with was Arakune because I didn't think he was particularly execution heavy compared to other characters.

I'm just trying to make you feel buyers remorse. If I feel it, so must everyone else.

Hey try and make me feel buyers remorse if you can I'll reward you lolol

Dude that one part where you think the game is over and it was wrapping up then it went to the HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK was the best shit ever. Me and a friend stayed up 24 hours the day the game came out and played through the whole thing.

Worst part was the escort part because it broke the rules of the game you were used to, and it even broke it's own rules at the end. I raged so hard

But >.> Arakune was one of the higher execution characters in the game. Dat mental barrier of doubt in action

Execution in this game is fairly simple, the more complex stuff is pure timing unless you are using shadow lab or naoto

You're well beyond the point of no return. I realize when my efforts can have no effect.

Nobody has said what I should get in place of this game. I am accepting all suggestions.

You literally mash A to execute a combo that ends with a super.

Every move is done with quarter half circles, so this game isn't execution heavy really.

Do you like typing on a keyboard? :P It's the same concept

Hm...now I'm considering getting one since I type 90-110 wpm. >.>;
Plus I actually started playing fighting games seriously on keyboard until I got my stick. I know there's people in San Antonio who have it, so I might have to see if I can borrow one for a week to test it out.

Thanks guys! Game sounds good!

Except it would be faster than a stick :P Hitboxes are godlike because they are the fastest most precise input devices.

I would love to be able to try a hitbox one day, but I don't want to buy one just to see if I like it or not. ^^

I stand corrected! Still though... seems like a lot of work when I consider myself pretty competent on a stick already. I have bigger problems than my directional inputs :P

Got to admit however, that thing looks pretty damn cool.
