Going to pick up the PS3 version since P4AGAF will be on the PS3 mostly. I'm really looking forward to this game.
360 patch is coming later this month. So...
Either/or. Your choice. Most of GAF is going to be on PS3 though, so...

Yeah, the end game was super satisfying. There were a couple kinks though, like the bosses destroying necessary blocks or their attacks freezing you in place when you were trying to cross a spike block. Really aggravating. Story-wise, the only part I didn't like was
I got the best Katherine ending, and I didn't like when boss and them came out and explained the illusions to her. It cheapened the metaphorical aspects of the tower. That, and the narrator was a bit heavy-handed at the end.
I stopped playing Rapunzel the last couple days in game, though, running on fumes :-(
Playing against humans > learning combos.
You can learn combos when you're not learning matchups. Matchups trump combos every time.
I've never had any problems with the older SF4 pads, but I did tend to break the Dpads after a while.
The SFxT pad feels...odd, but I can't tell if it's due to the size or the new build quality on the pads themselves. I had a cammy fightpad for 2 years and did well with it, when that broke I bought a Juri one which still does well. I bought a SFxT one in a pinch in order to compete in the Marvel tournament at PAXEast and had issues with it.
I've been doing a ton of research on what the best pad for fighting is on 360 and, in the end, it's still the transforming D Pad ones. Problem is the build quality on those pads is SO HORRIBLE, you will be running through dozens of them. In 2 months I went through 8. Gamestop had no choice but to exchange them. The plastic on the Axl of the dPad is completely flimsy so any serious play literally snaps them in half.

I just played my first Ranked match on 360 using a friend's account (playing from New York) and the lag was so bad I was able to finish with an Instant Kill. I'm not big on online too much so no big deal for me, but throw another one in for 360 online being ass. I'll definitely try it again when it's patched though, everyone should have leveled up by then as well.

Hey, there any FAQs for the story mode that outlines all the paths? I can see this getting really annoying with the amount of dialogue choices you make.

The patch is going through QA right now- it will be a couple of weeks most likely, but it will get there.
It's nice to see a review from somebody who actually gets Persona. I really wasn't convinced when I watching the GameTrailers one that the reviewer was anything beyond a casual fan.

I played 9 matches so far on 360 and it seems that if you let the intro play out fully it syncs the game ala BlazBlue CT and AH3. Other times, the match just syncs itself in like the second or third round. The only problem is that there are many people in ranked that just skip the intros.
Other than that, I am surprised and very glad to find that I am really enjoying Kanji. I feel like he has just the right amount of tools to make him work.

I got the game on Xbox and just turned it on right now. It said to download a update before the game started. Is that the network patch or something else? I'm going to be grinding with Narukami and Aikihiko today.

Got the game and started playing. I went straight to Challenge Mode and messed around with Yu, Yukiko and Elizabeth. Even though I was hyped for Yu, I think I may actually be liking those two girls more. Hmm. Time will tell. I need to use them in a real match.

Did you use to play SF4 or still do? I'm sure I've played you before in random online matches, but just didn't know who you were. Or was it casuals that we set up on GAF?
But regardless I'm down, but I can't play till really late at night. I work 2nd shift so I probably won't be around till 2-3 AM. BTW, I live in NC so if you're in that region then hopefully we will have decent games on Xbox even before the patch.
