Wii U marketing materials starting to arrive at retail stores

If so, how exactly would it make sense to announce a game is cancelled at a later time? Stockholders will believe the game is still in development, therefore even more money is wasted on it? Or they find out it was cancelled long ago, and were lied too? This scenerio makes zero sense.

Not confirmed, hinted at. Activision hasn't announced anything yet, even though a developer basically said Skylanders is coming. Same scenario as with what EA was doing with Madden/Fifa, and I have no fucking clue why Nintendo is choosing this method for game announcements.

So I guess I should have believed Neogaf over Square-Enix when GAF said DQX was cancelled/vapor-ware? Square Enix just works that way, and Sony is probably scrambling to get Last Gaurdian ready for next-gen launch, even if it still looks like a PS3 game.

Because, perhaps they're waiting for a different financial quarter to announce said game has been cancelled? Just because PR says a game is still being developed doesn't mean it is.

A trusted source on Gaf confirmed Press had been flown in to play the WiiU version. Its real but for some reason being kept on the downlow. It is also likely Satterfields missing launch game that he knows but wasn't announced.

And just because you say the game isn't in development, I should side with you? What exactly is your evidence? That you haven't heard anything about it in a while? Yeah, I think I'll take the word of said company actually developing said game, along with their PR company, because they actually, you know..... Work with the game.

The Wii U is a more capable (but not generationally so) 360/PS3 and I am okay with that because I have long since moved on from the idea that Nintendo is playing in the same stadium as everyone else so the comparisons don't really make sense to me.

Couldn't agree more. I've got a black 360 slim and a black PS3 slim but I'm going white for WiiU.

I want this to be true because it means Sony and MS got together and drove off a cliff.

At least their fans will get the best games and graphics of all times. It's a win-win situation
 
Why didn't they do white?

It'd lure Apple fans. I'm not joking. I have female Apple friends that buy white outlined TV's to match there Apple gear.
 
My Wii's analogue stick isn't yellow to this day :/

But I prefer black, as it matches my electronics. Also, the LED on the console is blue! Small detail, I know, but it matters to me :P
