Every post of his is either "this is a travesty" or a reply to anybody remotly intrested in the game "You like this game, well fuck you I'm going to look down at you". At one point he can't pull the "It's my opinion and you should deal with it" card. This is trolling and he knows it too.
And the bait and switch thing he does is just ugh.

I was really avoiding this thread. Which is a shame since I'm interested in Horizon and I'm a fan of Forza Motorsport series so I would love to have a thread to discuss this properly with other fellow GAFfers.

To answer your question Rad Agast Forza Horizon will read your Forza Motorsport 4 Save File and based on that (don't know if based on Completion % Rate, cars on your garage or anything else) you will have access to some bonus cars from the Start.

It is just a pity that they couldn't work it so that any DLC bought for Forza 4 could be carried over to Horizon (a la Rock band 1 and 2). I traded Forza 4 in after a few weeks, as it just got very dull and repetitive (and the Top Gear bits alone weren't sufficient enough to keep hold of the title).

agreed but i dont see how top gear bs will make forza horizon any better
Personally, I think they add fun gameplay to F4 - I want to play car football, rather than 'yet another track race, *yawn*'. I want to have daft challenges, rather than another version of 'can this car do this track faster than this car?'. In the same way that in TDU2, some friends and I found a shipping yard filled with containers, in which we developed a 'Bugatti tag' game. I enjoy the TV show (BBC version, of course), and so and title which can provide a similar experience will automatically be of interest to me. Hell, if only for the Test Track they had included the celebrity lap times, and let you be ranked amongst them as well.
At the end of the day, I expect to be entertained and have fun for my pecuniary outlay. Simple track racing doesn't cut it anymore. Different strokes, and all that, but Horizon looks set to be a step in the right direction, for my tastes.

I wish the lighting during night races were more dynamic, GT5 has shadows dancing around your cockpit as you go past the streetlights. In Horizon however, your dashboard remains dark :/

If it draws attention to your act I'll fall on the sword. I dont understand how somone could do nothing but post negative crap, and be allowed to continue on doing so. All but 1 of your 90 something post are negative.
No one seems to care that you have been shiting up 3 forza threads. If any one else were to go into lets say a Mario thread and post about how great the original Super Mario was and all the recent games are crap we wouldn't last a day.

Sure.. but there's two issues there: first, you keep on harping the same complaints so naturally people get tired of it. Maybe you should consult a mod. As an example, you could ask them:
"Hey mister moderator, I don't want to be testing the system here so tell me, how far can I go with my "ITS NOT LIKE FORZA 1" complaints in threads that are not about Forza 1? Others seem to think I keep derailing the discussion but I certainly don't think so."
Second, you refer to posters with the term "fanboy" in a derogatory manner, as if to mean we're obsessed and hence, unreasonable. This isn't true... in fact, how we react reflects on your posting etiquette, especially when you stir things up by calling people names. You asked why'd someone would bother posting a gif 5 times, because I'm sure you felt that kind of behavior was unnecessary. That said, we think there's no need for you to keep reiterating on how disappointed you are with the forza franchise as well.

when have i ever said that? if you ever read my posts under fender uk on the forza 2 thread you'd see i loved that game despite many features missing from the first game. but to me forza 3 was a huge step down in terms of career structure and overall gameplay. forza 4 was a step in the right direction with sim steering but still they added more and more bullshit and ignored many core fans (like me) criticisms. how long have we been complaining about lack of tracks? and obvious inaccuracy of tracks and cars. but nooooooooo they wont fix any of that because thats not what gets the arcade kids interested, lets introduce kid assists like auto braking and rewind which completely ruins the point of competitive racing. lets add in bullshit top gear to get that dumb audience to play our game, and hey lets add a warthog to get halo kids to buy our game, fuck what the core gaming expiernece is, you cant have spa or bathurst or a even close to accurate nurburgring. of course i still enjoy the new forzas to agree thats why i own every single forza game but the fact they ignore all this shit for too long and spend their budget on gimmicks pisses me off. imo

lol neogaf is the only place i know where people take the time to do this sort of stuff, yes and notice every thing i said is true? they are losing focus of the first forza games which was all about the racing, and while of course its still a racing game shit like painting semi nude little anime girls on your car and top gear shit like hitting a ball around with your car is what they advertise to get the casual kids in, you know its true too
