Shhh, im using SEC tactics where claim more than just AP titles are championships.
The SEC way.

70's is Bama, championships at the beginning and end of the decade, and the middle would have been too, if not for ND...
I think one could argue Ohio state for 70s as well. 4 national championships and 2 Heismans.
The SEC way.

Did they actually lump their division championships into conference championships? Jesus that's sad.
I'm assuming that they lumped seasons in there where they didn't win titles outright. Some teams count championships when you had the same record as the team that won it, but you lost the tiebreaker.

Yeah, we talked about this in one of the earlier threads. It looks like they claimed conference championships based on conference record alone, not necessarily making it to or playing in the CCG. Like in 2010, 5 teams finished 6-2, Nebraska-Oklahoma played in the CCG.
1997 Texas A&M Conference Record 6-2
1997 Nebraska Conference Record 8-0
That's not including A&M's 54-15 loss in the Big 12 Championship Game. Hell, Kansas State had a better conference record at 7-1. Fuck that shit.
You mean the Big 12 Championship game? They lost that game in '97. They were the South Division leader but they damn sure weren't Big 12 champs.

Yeah I know Big 10 teams did this at least prior to them having a real championship game.
We did, but with how scheduling worked it was usually 1 or 2 teams won, on very rare occasions 3. Majority of the time it was only one team though.
Kentucky Football was so awesome they won a championship and had Bear Bryant.Shhh, im using SEC tactics where claim more than just AP titles are championships.
I thought most of them weren't really wins, one team had the tiebreaker and actually won the conference, but they allowed the other team to count it as winning the conference if they had the same record. Which is pretty bullshit, if so. It's either a tiebreaker or not.
Tiebreakers were used to see who went to the Rose Bowl, so both team would claim a title. But sometimes had teams who didnt play each other, OSU and Iowa both went undefeated in the Big 10 in 2002 so both won a title.
2006 Pac-10 champs!
Explain to me why I'm nervous about the Gators facing Kentucky.. at home.. a week after the Wildcats lost to Western Kentucky. Please.

How far has the B1G fallen this year? Right now, they are worse than the ACC
So they showed a video of a UK tailgate fight (warning: disgusting cheap shot) on Fox News.
One commenter was skeptical....
"It must not have happened anywhere near here. Everyone knows UK doesn't beat anyone in state."
