God, please don't let us lose to Mumphus. Every chance we'd have would go ker-flush. Not to mention, it would be really embarrassing, we're favored by 24, the largest we've been favored over an FBS school in a long ass time.

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Conference commissioners are considering the possibility of adding another game to be part of the semifinal rotation for the new college football playoff.

The postseason plan approved by university presidents in June called for the national semifinals to rotate among six bowl sites. The years those sites do not host semifinals, they would be marquee bowl games, involving other highly ranked teams.

There are numerous details still to be worked before the format is implemented in 2014, including the composition of the selection committee that will pick the playoff participants, site of the first championship game and revenue distribution.

In other words:

Playoff = SEC #1 vs. SEC #4 and SEC #2 vs. SEC #3

Champions Bowl = SEC #5 vs. Big 12 Champion

Orange Bowl = SEC #6 vs. Notre Dame

Sugar Bowl = SEC #7 vs. At-large (SEC #8)

We're number 1!!

We're number 1!!

And, I thought my fandom was kind of excessive.

But....this man wins.

There's something happening? Or do you mean the story that came out today about the BEAST lusting after two schools that already turned them down once?

Yeah something about Air Force and maybe Fresno State going BE. I think BYU was also in the mix, but BYU is indy I think. Who turned down the BE?

Article I read was just about BEAST going after AFA, BYU, and maybe Army again once the new TV deal is done. Actual quote from someone in the BEAST:

"They'll crawl back once the TV deal is done," the source said.

I haven't heard about anyone actually moving. The ESPN article says that AFA turned them down before because of loyalty to the MWC, and BYU turned them down because the BEAST wanted them to give up the TV deal they had for home games.

I'll get this MOV thing eventually.

It's because since BYU is an independent they only game $100,000 of the BCS cut. Totally paltry, even compared to Big East numbers. Same with Army, but the service academies are on a different mode of operation.

I think all three go, if not, BEAST will just take another MWC member from the West or two to weaken them further. Hell, San Diego State is already in, may as well add Fresno and UNLV at this point. It can't do much else.

I didn't even know San Diego had a team until I started reading about this.

Thoughts on Week 4 Games

- Time to put on the Big Boy pants, FSU. Try not embarrass yourself on national TV again.

- How do I think CU vs FSU will go down? The game will be more of a defensive-struggle, than 2 offenses having their way. The game will probably be boring to non-fans. Clemson will come out hot and score a TD first, then FSU will buckle down. Expect FSU to try to establish the run game first, while CU will try to score quickly on FSU's inexperienced DBs by throwing to Watkins. Like I said in my FSU season prediction, FSU's QB isn't a great QB...just isn't "football smart", and the coaches can't rely on him to win games. Absolutely have to establish the run in order to win vs CU.

- Wanted to go with Michigan, but ND had a really good performance against MSU. Gotta favor the home team here.

- Hoping BYU is still crying over losing to Utah, and comes out flat against BSU.

- :lol @ Auburn. It's going to hurt this weekend.

- If RUTGERS RUTGERS RUTGERS wins vs Ark, can it still be considered an upset at this point?

- OU should roll through the B12 this season.

Go fuck yourselves.

I'll add pick later but as for anything else, fuck off.

Still the best OP. Shows why CFB >> NFL

Continue my trend of worrying myself at how many home teams I'm choosing.

Already regret picking ULM to beat Baylor BUT I WILL STAY STRONG.
