North American Vita Compatible PSone Games

I see Grandia apparently works via transfer now (according to OP). Is that a recent development? Didn't work last time I tried.

About time they put up the other FF's.

Except for FF V, although I'm starting to guess it's related to the fact that it contain the save bug (talking about the bug surfacing while playing FF V on the PSP emulator, which is not present if you play it on the PS3) .

You're a good man, Wario.

I need to get Legend of Mana and Threads of Fate. I missed those two, back in the day. I kind of want to get Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI to play the SNES localizations out of nostalgia, but I can't really bring myself to. I remember them being pretty much unplayable.

I already had copied Breath of Fire IV to my Vita from the PS3, but if anyone hasn't played it on Vita yet, DO IT. It looks soooo nice on the Vita.

Yay! Without a PS3 atm I was wondering when I could get RE2 on this thing.

Hell, maybe FFIX and a Dino Crisis while I'm at it. Which DC? 1 is better, right?

Sold.

How does Tomb Raider hold up these days? Seriously considering The Last Revelation as its the only old TR game that I havent played.

Great week, I just finished Tomba, so maybe I'll grab somethink else. Although my backlog is already huge xD.

How is Gex 3? I remember having fun with Gex 2 back in the day

In case anyone's wondering, I'm getting consistent errors when downloading Pocket Fighter, saying it can't install each time. I also can't transfer it from PS3.

If I recall correctly, Pocket Fighter was incompatible with PSP. Perhaps this has something to do with the reason why it's not working on Vita.

Wonder why Final Fantasy V works fine in Europe but not in the U.S. I want a complete 1 through 9 collection, Sony!!!! Make it happen.

Was hoping new games to transfer would have popped up, but that doesn't seem to be the case. would like to play Legacy of Kain on this, I thought it'd be good on the PSP but it's too dark and the ghosting was insufferable, but maybe on the Vita it'd be fine?

Huh, that sucks.

BTW, I just noticed the "currently incompatible" list in the OP needs to be updated. Chrono Cross can be taken off, at least. There's a few others that should work now too.

I'm downloading Chrono Cross right now. I can't wait. I know I already own it on disc, but I've been itching to play it on that sweet OLED screen.

To be honest, CC, CT, and Castlevania: SOTN are my three favorite games from the PS1 era/all time, so having them on one device is going to be pretty damn awesome.

To the person posting about CT and FFVI, to be honest, I didn't find the loading that bad. A small inconvenience, much like the elevator loads in Mass Effect. I love CT too much, and it looks so good on the Vita screen, that I can deal with some load times.

I feel the same way about those games, along with FFVI. The loading isn't game breaking. The visuals more than make up for it imo.

That's a shame about Pocket Fighter. I just pulled the trigger on it too excited that maybe they made it compatible for the Vita. Should have known better.
