Disagree. LBP2, Infamous2, Just Cause2, R&C. The service really has something for everyone. I definately don't love ALL of their offerings(I was done with 2D fighters in the mid-90's), but its an absolute bargain at $50...especially in comparison to what i used to pay $50/yr for on XBL.

The store not working right for anyone else?
When I go to buy Resi 5 or Bulletstorm it takes me to a blank blue screen where the only option is to 'continue shopping'. It shows the blue icon next to the games as if I've bought them, though. Very strange.

yeah, but at least you use the 'download/install before shutting off' option via the xmb power off menu.

have you downloaded the 1hour trial before..? if that is so, then download the trial from your Download list, and play for an hour, then the game will work as a full freebie..!

Only times games ever installed for me when I used the download then shut off option. I guess it was fixed a some time ago then as that's what I mostly use no matter the size as I was sick of manually installing them.

Ok, seems to be a PS+ problem. My sub expired on Sunday but for some reason it didn't automatically renew like it's supposed to. Next to status, it says 'in use' and there is also still a Plus symbol next to my username. When I try to buy a new sub it gives me an error code.
Anyone know how to fix this?
has the money been withdrawn form your account..?

No, the only stuff in my transaction history for the past month have been €0.00 PS+ freebies.

Wait, I'm confused. Weren't people talking about Plus?
PS+ always installs the stuff it downloads through automatic update. I can put something up as a background download and then turn my PS3 off, then it'll turn on when it's time for the automatic update and it'll download and install that content. And stuff it downloads automatically, like patches, are also installed automatically.

Im trying to download some of my older PS+ stuff now that Ive got a bigger HDD but I keep getting the not enough free space on my HDD even though I have 15gb free according to System Information.
To be more specific I am trying to download Starhawk's single player campaign and it says its 9500mb. When I check under my System Settings it says I have 15gb free. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my PS3 or my 3rd party 120gb HDD? I wasnt sure where to seek help but I was hoping someone in here might know. I would greatly appreciate any and all help.

when you download something on psn it takes x2 the space to install
Not sure if it's the same but, when I downloaded Warhammer from Plus the online pass was in the download list after 'checking out'.

Yeah, but that is still kind of different than having what you download being instantly available to play like say Steam or XBLA.
It's just how Sony set it up for some reason, unlike XBLA or Steam, you are downloading an installer from PSN which then has to install the files hence the need for twice the space.
It is annoying, and doesn't make much sense when the download isn't even a compressed version, it is probably something silly they thought of for DRM or something that evidentially didn't turn out that way.

It's the same with most PC-programs isn't it? You download a file, then you use that file to install, then you can delete the file you downloaded. The installation will be about the same size as the downloaded file.

Gonna pick up Festival of Blood and Monster World IV at those prices. I may get Plants vs Zombies for Vita as well at that price...crap Jet Set Radio(Vita) is being released this week isn't it? And then there is the Unifinished Swan. Gonna probably pick up all of these before the month up but tomorrow is going to be interesting as to what I decide to get first.

Nay, it really isn't. A weak top down shooter without much variety and lackluster design in terms of enemy placement and level builds makes it quite weak as compared to all the other good top down shooters there are on PSN.
It has the imagery to tell you it's Ghostbusters, but none of the charm or humour or fun.
I got the game free out of a GAME contest and it still wasn't worth it.
