The combat in LoS is one of the few things they get absolutely right.
Yeah
Extatic !
Splendid !!

Someone should start a petition for a port of the first game to PC, hey it worked for Dark Souls (kinda)
Apart from the terrible hit detection/hit boxes (and the useless nature of most moves/combos on the higher difficulty settings), right?
Anyone see this yet? Dave Cox posted this pic on twitter the other day.

Absolutely stunning art, but that can't be in-game...
Cool.
Will still get on PS3, though.

Never say never

Go and play LoS1 now.
offscreen makes a wii game look great
it is ingame
There's much crazier in game stuff than that in the first game, like the castle levels.
Go and play LoS1 now.
Yep.
Superior PS3 version for me.
Here's the actual pic:

Man, the PC version is going to be crazy if they keep with the same art direction as they did with LoS1. And that needs to come to PC as well.
Widening the gap between the PC and console versions is indeed a smart thing to do, we've seen many developpers pushing the PC this generation and hopefully MercurySteam will give the PC platform the attention it deserves.Definitely hope they go all out with the graphics on PC.
They haven't even announced console platforms for this, have they? I wonder if it's actually next-gen game. PC version is the one to get, regardless.
If this is true then that's one of the best PC bonuses ever. Damn, the art design in LoS1 is stellar but the framerate is... not stellar.Mercury Steam have actually optimized their engine for the Cell CPU multiprocessing capabilities this time around, LoS budget wasn't nothing out of the ordinary and they preferred more and better artists than multicore-experienced software engineers (rewriting the code wasn't an option) so using the CPU for rendering tasks didn't make the deadlines and they opted for a traditional and cheaper (that budget...) engineering approach which ended hurting the overall performance of the game in both the PS3 and X360 versions of the game. LoS 2 will perform at a locked 30 frames per second with larger areas and better image quality.
As for the PC port of the first game rumours say it will be a bonus of the collectors edition of LoS 2 PC version.

If that's your excuse for delaying a game after the release of the console version than we will take it.
Would be awesome to have LoS pack on Steam, GoG, GMG, Amazon, etc where you get LoS 1 & 2 in one game.
60 fps, no GFWL, AA/AF options, optimized, PC menus, FOV, and customizable/scalable UI. I would really appreciate Steam achievements and Steam cloud as well.
Having never played LoS and having recently bought (but not played) the PS3 version, how much of the "OMG runs like shit" comments are GAF hyperbole?
