Well, if the iPhone 5 would have been the 4s but with a lightening adaptor and the a6 I'd probably say its a pretty minor rev. I was talking about the new iPad 3. Things like a thinner design and laminated screen are the real upgrades.
Fwiw I actually like the asymmetrical bezel.

Seriously though - the iPad mini with the thin bezel looks really sexy compared to it's bigger brother. If I wanted to buy into iOS I'd definitely get the mini.

App devs are going to make sure the iPad Mini sucks for performance. Don't get this for games. Fortunately my wife only wants it for browsing and books.

No, these are terrible examples, because they ignore the difference in resolution. The Nexus 7 will actually show MORE vertically (800px vs 768px), it'll just be smaller and wider.

Yeah, it really irritates me. It is pretty telling that they start off their attack based on superficial hardware design differences.
It terms of software usability the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is superior in my opinion.
