My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Season 3 |OT| The fun has been TRIPLED!

My pony list!

1.Applejack
2.Twilight Sparkle
3.Pinkie Pie
4.Rarity
5.Fluttershy
7.Rainbowdash

At last, long last! I needed more ponies in my life. Want it. NEED IT

And now, for the customary ranking.

1- Twilight Sparkle - Because being able to make a nerdy type of character that does not sucks is hard to pull off right.

2- Fluttershy. Far more hylarious and less of a moe stereotype than what people gives her credit for

3- Applejack / Rarity. I love how these two can hold an episode on their own and show that there's quite more to their personalities than an archeotype.

4- Pinkie Pie. Nuff said.

999999- Rainbow Dash - Insufferable, unfunnny character. Gah. The show's Kvothe.

You two are my new best friends.

Hard haired toys at hot topic? RBD and Derpy. Soon Fluttershy and Dr Hooves.
I was going to dismiss this as "okay, guess I really didn't miss much", but assuming we're talking about this, that's actually pretty kickass. I mean, the bangs are colored wrong on the first shot (blue/green/purple only go on her nape), but the other two look really good.

People still think Korra was good? lol

Anyways looking forward to the premiere.

I don't think Korra's bad, but it's certainly disappointing compared to TLA, al least so far. I think it needs to seriously tone down on the "teen angst" and loosen up a bit, but they have time to work with it. I still enjoyed watching it.

But I digress. Ponies. I am interested to see if they develop Trixie's character more. Even if her specialty is sleight-of-hand and not actual power like Twilight, that can be quite effective (her specialty was sleight-of-hand type magic tricks, right?). But then maybe I'm reading into it too much.

Trixie is one of those terrible one-shot characters that somehow got popular.

Then again, MLP fandom. A fucking rabbit has its fans.

Angel Bunny is funny. Even if the tiny white bunny with an attitude is getting a bit cliche.

Trixie was the episode's lesson made into a pony. She was good for what she was needed to be, but I do worry a bit about what they're going to do with her. But they've gotten things right so far, so I'm optimistic.

You know who is also a "pony who needs a lesson" that got dragged on repeatedly that it's no more fun? Fluttershy.

People like Trixie because she's not all nice and good like every other pony in the series. Of course she got popular.

The new season hasn't started yet and we have already 2 potential jump the shark episodes. Can't wait for it.

Don't forget the season premiere...

Oh, Trixie didn't need to learn a lesson. She was the lesson. The lesson being "Don't be like Trixie." And yeah, Fluttershy needs an episode not focusing on her shyness...

every bit of media in the franchise put out has the potential to ruin it

that's why i only accept things i like and agree with and come up with explanations to ignore the things i don't like

I don't think Hurricane Fluttershy was really about shyness though. Her problem came from embarrassment about her abilities. Few tweaks and it could have been a bullying themed episode.

I was sure you'd say Rainbow Dash. Though Fluttershy is close behind her in that regard.

Least Rainbow Dash can learn a lesson unlike most the other ponies.

Oh come off it. Gravity Falls and Pony are both better than Korra.

my top 8 of currently running western children's comedy cartoons

2.) Gravity Falls
3.) Phineas & Ferb
4.) Regular Show
5.) The Amazing World of Gumball
6.) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
7.) Dan Vs.

Animation Wars!
Just be happy that it seems there starting to be quality cartoons again in tv, but really...
-MLP and Gravity Falls are my favourite of the bunch.
-Scooby Doo Mystery Inc is AMAZING and one of my favourite shows also, how can fucking scooby doo be soooo good. Sad not seeing it named in the lists.
-I havent seen as many episodes of adventure time as I would like, need them to wathc them in order and all that before my final veredict, but its also awesome (however I still prefer more 20 minutes episode series to 2 parts 10 minutes).
-Phineas of Ferb was really good, and still like it, but it suffers from what I call the Scooby Doo syndrome, that is, musical numbers in every episode while characters are running around, were 75 percent of the songs are really mediocre because there are so many and quality decreaes (for example MLP has the best musical numbers of any cartoon tv series right now, and is good having them only in some episodes becuase they feel more special and the quality of them goes up). Still Doffersmith and Perry parts are still awesome.
-And I just catch that Gumball cartoon during lunch sometimes, and I dont know, theres really good episodes and others... not so good. The father is amazing though, and has my favourite spanish voice actor here for him, so that also helps.

Other shows I havent had the pleasure of watch them, or watch more than an epsiode sadly.

Also thank god I got my ponies back this week! Need them in my life again! YAY

Yeah it should have been more of a bullying episode - at least I could understand that she can't stand on her own. But lack of self-confidence pretty much borders on the meek and shy aspect of her character yet again.

And yeah, RD actually learns from her lessons and carries those lessons throughout the episodes.

Yeah.

Which is why Trixie shouldn't exist. I'm glad Gilda isn't reappearing but so should this crap.

People like Trixie because she's not all nice and good like every other pony in the series. Of course she got popular.

I hate her because she's very flat, but suddenly gain a fanbase.

Stock in the Pawtucket-based toymaker (HAS:Nasdaq) spiked 6.8 percent to $38.66 at the opening bell amid speculation that Disney (DIS:NYSE) was preparing a multi-billion dollar bid for Hasbro.

Hasbro declined comment, citing its policy of not talking about rumor or speculation. CNBC analyst David Faber reported that Hasbro's advisors told him there's "absolutely nothing going on that they are aware of at all, in any way, shape or form" involving Hasbro or Disney.
Wall Street analysts said a Disney acquisition didn't make much sense, just after Disney agreed to buy Lucasfilm Ltd. for $4.05 billion. And for any deal to happen, Hasbro would have to dissolve agreements with Disney's competitors.

if i watched scooby doo more i think id rank it. i havent seen enough of it to really grade

Them not showing clips of Sombra talking makes me wonder if they got someone well known to do the voice. They did that short clip of Discord last year and people picked up instantly that it was John de Lancie.

It should be someone totally unexpected. Like Weird Al, Bobcat Goldthwait, or Gilbert Godfrey lol.
