Has anyone had any experience ordering from Zavvi for launch day..? All these confirmation emails flying about are worrying me because I've heard bugger all from them for a while. They were supposed to email me with bargain price games too but I haven't had one of those for a while too. Am starting to panic lol

Wish I hadn't followed the ZombiU threads so closely now, I'm really looking forward to playing it and not getting it delivered on Friday is going to drive me mental lol.

I checked by Zavvi Blops 2 order earlier and it said "awaiting pick". It's the furthest advanced of all my Wii U-related orders, with the others coming from Amazon and Tesco. I don't know if that means anything though.

It would be Retailer Troll Extreme™ if they cancelled our orders now. Absolutely confident they won't.

I'm in a serious situation of greed atm; still contemplating whether or not to spend 17£ on release day arrival (never mind that I just saved £100.)

And that's another cancelled AssCreed3 order. The lack of listing for it on the site makes me wonder if they ever planned to produce it. Well I have £20 off anything Ubi now. Could be handy for the future.

I thought the same, but since it's being sold by retailers, they are clearly being produced, it may just be that they decided to ship them all off to retailers instead of selling them through the uplay store. Rayman Legends seems to be the best purchase with the voucher at the current prices. ZombiU/Assassins Creed III are listed at £55, so it only brings it in line with some other retail prices.

Zavvi will not get anyone anything on Day One unless a miracle happens.

I used them for a few cheap preorders in the past few years (Xenoblade was one), and everything came the week after the Friday release.

Yup. If you get a preorder the following monday then it's a miracle. If you get it day one from them then you are a liar.

My ZombiU bundle hasn't started processing yet :/ Still not worried, never been let down by shopto, heck i've had to take the thursday off work as well since they have a habit of getting consoles to me a day early.

Which is good. I booked the 30th off, and the only thing that would happen if they attempted to delivery early would find an empty house because I would be at work.

Still, looking around for another game to get for launch now Ubi have let me down and I know Zavvi wont send their 2 games on time. Maybe LoveFilm will actually come to the rescue.

Don't worry, I have an email confirming it.

Upon further investigating on the issue regarding the price of the Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black I was able to get an approval on the issue so that you can have the ORIGINAL price 199.99 for the item. The difference will be in a form of refund. A personal follow up will be created to monitor the issue and refund will be requested once the order is completed.

Never had TNT before. DPD & UPS are Gods amongst mortals when it comes to delivering stuff though.

Not dispatched yet, Shopto always dispatch at least 2 days before launch (so tomorrow) so in theory it will get here on thursday.

Mine says 30th of November. But for the longest time the delivery estimate on mine was past 1st of Jan 2013 so unless they've run out of stock you'll hopefully get it this week. When did you preorder?

Amazon FR seem to be offering a lower price (£261 with shipping) right now, and guarantee it before the 10th December. Might be worth switching over

Xenoblade Chronicles. Best soundtrack of this gen, one of the best RPGs of this gen.
DKCR is a pretty damn fine platformer, especially the "challenge" levels.
Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 are among the finest games of all time, definitely worth a look (even if you don't love 3D platformers).
Red Steel 2 - if you can get it for cheap - shows how with great core gameplay a mediocre game can be pretty damn fun.
No More Heroes 1/2 - if you can get it for little money - is Suda51 at his best. Insane, hilarious, simple.

That's right, the WiiU will upscale the image to whatever resolution you have set (720/1080p). It'll be rendering at the game's original native resolution, obviously, but at least it'll be routing through HDMI this time.

No GamePad support for legacy games, sadly. Only Wii peripherals will work with Wii games.

Doesn't upscale in terms of doing anything to texture resolution, but yes, will output at 720. And you will need a wiimote and nunchuck. Worth it, though.

Not everyone can run it, but if your PC is up to Dolphin, you should play all Wii games on that, rather than the Wii U. SMG2 looks insane on Dolphin.
