Here... (this is that huge MGS4 spoiler I was talking about)You are awesome.
Don't tell me the loading times actually were over 8 minutes. That seems insane.

At some point you just care that much about the characters that it doesn't even matter what spaced out nonsense happens around them, you travelled the road down with them and want to see how it ends.
And that's what MGS4 delivered.
Begins first hour is fucking blockbuster entertainment nirvana. I still really like the second half, but everything up until Falcone is attached to the skylight is incredible.
Nolan was once the golden child of NeoGAF and now people shit upon him with no remorse. He has become the Harvey Dent of GAF...
I liked TDKR more before I rewatched it. I thought it was pretty decent with a handful of flaws before.
Now I just see it as a huge fuckup by Nolan who was phoning it in.
Ducard is a ninja with a vested interest in Bruce, of course he found him.
The incognito bit seemed to work for everyone else in the world during his 7 years abroad.
Pfft. The whole thing took like ten seconds.
Seeing Begins again in theaters for the trilogy showing was fantastic. I was actually more excited to see it more than The Dark Knight for the showing since I had only seen it once in theaters in 2005.
MGS4 delivered a steaming hot turd from Koj's asnus right into his salivating fanbase's mouths.

Nolan completely phoned it in on the storytelling side of things.
Looper I think. Barely. Loved both of them.Quick random question for you guys....which did you enjoy more....TDKR or Looper?

Looper.
Looper, a lot more. Though it slows down at the barn and TDKR had the better ending.

Nitpicking about details in TDKR but applauding this piece of nonsensical time-travel crap? Some of you have become so bitter because of their own high expecation that weren't matched I believe.
The timetravel expect which was the crucial centerpiece of the movie made no sense whatsoever.
Looper made about as much sense as TDKR, but it was far more entertaining and I cared about the characters more - which kind of makes me scratch my head since TDKR has two films worth of characterization going into it that feels utterly wasted and trampled upon.

DerZuhälter;45610319 said:I'm scratching my head only because of the plural used in characters. Who do we really have in the TDK Trilogy to care about? It's only Bruce. The side-characters give us nothing. I don't even know why the line was dropped that Gordon and his wife split. It never gets mentioned again, it doesn't get picked up again at ending, nothing. JGL, Hathaway, Caine, Freeman, you name them: They don't care. They are just vehicles to move forward Bruce's character/story.
But the same goes for Looper unless you count the main character as two (future/present) which would be a fair assumption. But none the less. Do we really care about any other person in this movie? I personally didn't. Even if it's a little boy. And I can't say I cared about Bruce Willis / JGL more than about Bruce Wayne.

Looper sucked.
I'd like to Loop Her if you know what I'm sayin.
I know exactly what you're saying. But how are we going to get 21 elephants in a perfect triangle?
Yeah, I was severely disappointed with Looper even after lowering my expectations a bit. I was disappointed with Batman too though.

It doesn't have to. That detail was supposed to show how dedicated Gordon was to serving Gotham, but also how miserable his life had become up to that point.
I so wish I was able to do this.
Was it as awesome as it sounded?
How did Blake knew where to find Gordon on the sewers?
Watched the BD last night and my wife asked me that, I didn't knew the answer lols, considering the dude who said to Bane that it was like a Maze down there.
