This must sting particularly hard for you after what happened with NG2.
Mechanicially, NG3 shares much more than most people think with NG2. It's just hayashit's stink dumped on top thats the problem.
I can honestly say from what I've seen of the razor's edge changes, I will enjoy that game far more than DmC, if a sigma 3 version is ever announced. It also dwarfs DmC in terms of content.
It's no black, but it is still Ninja gaiden. DmC is DmC. It pays homage to DMC, nothing more.

Bayonetta had everything an action game of its type should have, content-wise. It was literally one of the most impressive DLC-free packages I've seen this generation. Just chock full of great content and secrets.
DmC was never ever gonna come close for as long as it's a Capcom title.

I just bought the combo deal on steam, running through dmc4 right now. Forgot how many chairs and urns you need to break in that game. And the eggs in the jungle are like Neogaf logo eggs, kinda, ehh maybe not.

It didn't have to come close to Bayonetta, it just had to include a series staple. For fucks sake, they made the easiest and probably shortest Devil May Cry game to date and then stripped away a big part of the replay value too.

NG2 had tests of valor. Effectively you got two missions modes with the DLC.
Not to mention that NG2 is still packed with more content in every way compared to DmC. I didn't buy mission mode for at least a year.

Personally, I'm a big fan of multiple ridiculous sets of leaks prior to a game coming out, because then even if someone were to drop the entire game in a post, you'd pay it no mind because of all the chaff surrounding it.

Who the last boss and the costume you unlock are real, as the screenshots prove.
But what happens in the cutscene after you beat the last boss and what that means for the rest of the series story wise is yet to be known, unless/until we get screens.

The screenshots and last boss are completely legit as are the spoilers from the guide itself. This includes the Bloody Palace info.
Pretty much any story related spoiler right now is a fake unless confirmed otherwise. No one really knows the ending of the game.

I could probably get the game as early as the Friday before release, but lately the stores I go to that break street dates are starting to mark up games to $70 or more for selling early and I just refuse to bother doing that. So we'll see. If I get it early I'll be sure to let you guys know and answer whatever questions I can, but probably all the info will leak even earlier.
