watch this sell like hotcakes

Jesus wept. :(

Alright so, long story short, I'm retiring from GAF. Not anything to do with you guys, just that posting here (and other places on the internet, including the IRC) constantly is a distraction that I can no longer afford. I may or may not come back later on down the line, but for right now I'm done. :(

Actually, I'll probably make the occasional post on Gaming if something big happens and maybe show up here to give quick impressions on what I'm currently watching, but nothing more. Just can't do it anymore.
See you soon, jman2050! As long as you drop by and keep saying things for a bit in here from time to time, take a rest as much as you want to!

Buy me a ticket to Spain and I will buy you a drink! hahah
You invite me instead and I will bring you as an offering a bottle of the best olive oil I can find (with a protected designation of origin, of course!), or maybe you would be more prone to enjoy the "spirituous" products of the country. :-) ... what about some nice sherry, like a 'Brandy de Jerez'? Interested?

A respectable commerce with a pretty good reputation already for connecting overseas with independent creators! One of the sites I would totally recommend, as I mentioned before (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=34077432&postcount=4707).

Probably was the best part. Episode was almost distressingly alarming but ended up being quite enjoyable. How wonderful it was for Wham to actually have a cool personality and such. Really hope he gets bit more screentime, if only for the sake of interacting with Joseph more. Joseph seems pretty compatible with multiple characters thus far, thought the only joy would come from when he talks with Ceaser but surprisingly it was just as good and fun with Wham too.

Plotwise its kind of silly but easy to overlook. Dont understand why all three of them would just play around with characters that will no doubt defeat them at the end of the ark, unless there are some odd hijinks involved, which would at least explain why no one has challenged or defeated these people before hand.

Anyway good and hope new attacks on all fronts, engagement thing was great as well as various schemes. I still wish they went with an art style similar to this as it really would bring out and make the anime's blocky bulky characters much better and tolerable in terms of looks.

I also hope this gets an american english dub, its just so tedious to consistently consult various english dictionarys to understand some of the dialogue, like cor blimey, etc.

I don't get it.

You've got to be doing this on purpose, or replying before sitting back and thinking things through.

Hint: Who wears black in SAO?

Man, and to think your opinion on what the art in JJBA should look like is overshadowed by this gem, you never cease to one up yourself, it's astounding really.

That really only has to do with the subs you're watching. Damn ass [censored].

Can't really talk about fansubs by name, you'll want to edit that out.

Besides, that type of speak makes sense given that JoJo is British and it's set in the late 19th century to early 20th century, I wouldn't be surprised if an American dub did a failed attempt at ye olde English.

Oh I'm not questioning this, just putting it into perspective that the screens at least don't make it look anywhere near :wonzo tier. Hell it might even be acceptable.
Yeah, it's no Kingdom. lol

It actually looks pretty decent in motion. Animation is smooth enough too so it doesn't feel janky. I think the facial expressions do wonders in selling it as a whole, it just has that non-textured look to it that I sort of equate with CG animation looking like bad puppets.
Yeah, it didn't really offend me all that much any way. Have you fallen in love with the Kugoatloli yet? lol

That is American English. No one in Britain speaks like that because we understand how the language works. Watch some better subs.

mondaiji-tachi etc etc - 01/02

This is pretty bad. But it's also oddly appealing in that JRPG way, like I'm watching a Let's Play or something. There's a discussion to be had about the influence of games on culture and the people who produce them, i.e. light novel writers (the vanguard of literary culture) which would surely be more interesting than the show itself. The endless mechanization of magical elements reminds me of what phirehawk12 would call 'phantasy,' like Brandon Sanderson. It never feels natural and you get the feeling the world was created with dice rolls in mind.

I guess, at least, it's not a harem.

End of Evangelion

Mindfucked.

Not the good kind of mindfuck either where you start asking the big questions or contemplate on life, this is the kind of mindfuck where you go "Wtf is this shit?"

The movie is still alright, I guess. The only part I was heavily interested in was Asuka's awesome rampage and unfortunate death. Oh and Shinji is still a whiny bitch,

Overall the only reason to watch this is to conclude the episode series for closure, only good scene was with Asuka in it and things went "mindfuck-mode" when Rei showed up.

Mondaiji is nowhere near a bad show. It a good show for what it is.
There's nothing about it that can be described accurately as "bad".

For the record, I wasn't part of this group.

Yeah, the drama around it worked for me too, it was just something I noticed and thought it was kind of an amusing aside.

Your avatar just makes it seem like you're even more depressed about it, haha.

Yeah, I could maybe see the first episode but then he kept going anyway, haha.

These cars actually look pretty cool. Haha, I'd maybe drive one.

Arigatou!

Haha, this is pretty neat.

Nafe you avatar is very pretty. It looks like AKB0048. Who is that?

K-ON!! 1

My holdout for Season 2 really didn't last very long at all, did it? Oh well. I'm almost done with AMG and DTB anyway.

The Light Music Club wants to recruit new members so Azusa won't be lonely when the rest of them graduate (and that there will actually be a club, for that matter). They start by putting on their animal outfits, which was puzzling since that had such catastrophic results the last time they did it. Why was Azusa the pig and not the cat? She's fucking Azu-nyan goddammit! Needless to say, it worked out no better this time.

So they go ahead and try new tactics, like seeing how other clubs recruit members. They learn some stuff, but they don't actually do anything with what they've learned. Just dress up in their animal outfits again. So they don't recruit any new members, even after their performance. which they didn't fucking show! I want my Light and Fluffy Time, dammit! But then they realize they're happy with the club as is. Hooray. Everything works out. And Azusa plans to be even stricter with Yui, who hasn't changed much at all since she came to high school.
Yeah, it was a little disappointing they didn't show their performance, but maybe if they did, it would have been all the more baffling that no one would join them.
K-ON!! 2

Clean-up day. Cleaning up sucks. Everything I use (not much) is somewhere near by. The rest is in one of these closets around here. I don't give a fucking fuck.

Then the club goes to Wal-Mart or something like it and act like it's there first time there (to be fair to Mugi, it actually is her first time). Yui was captivated by screws. Yes, screws. At least Mugi and Azusa were looking at actual stuff. And Ritsu was wearing a mining helmet. Then the sell Sawako's old guitar for 500,000 yen. I said wow.

Then Sawako asks for the receipt, and Ritsu, out of nowhere, TRIES TO EAT IT! Goddamn, that was random and funny as shit. Now they don't get to keep the money. Shame, cause they were actually thinking of actual stuff to buy with it. Music equipment and such. Except Yui. She just wants to be slapped with the money. Simple pleasures for simple people, I guess. But they get to buy one thing as a treat, which they use to buy a turtle for Azusa as a substitute for having a freshman to take under her wing. I guess he's gonna be the band's mascot or something now.

And Ritsu ate the receipt because they wanted to pocket the money themselves and got greedy.
For the record, I wasn't part of this group.
I know. lol
But it would be pretty neat if she was chunkier, since you don't often see main female characters in anime like that.

People like you are the reason Anno won't stop making these goddamn movies!
I don't think so yet but he did dump her briefly and she said "gabu no baka" and everything.

Gintama 265-266

Love how the adaption is going so far. Tsukuyo and Nobume are definitely two of my favorite characters so its nice to see them in action again. The kick the can scene was great, really wish there was a gif of it.

New opening is easily one of my favorites. Would probably put it just behind Wonderland if I made a top 10 list.

I know why Ritsu did it. I just thought it was random and funny.

Also, totally knew that gif was coming. ;)

Pretty dull start though I guess they had to please shin sekai yuri fans. Satoru had good parts. I wish they established why they didnt trust the queerrats.

Satoru looks great post timeskip, and was that Shun twice, perhaps I may get my wish of him coming back in some form or something. Also I guess Maria major antagonist or something, hope nothing happened to Mamoru

K-ON!! 3

Ritsu is a bit burned out on the drums because she apparently is invisible on stage. Shouldn't she speak to the stage manager about that sort of thing? That really isn't supposed to happen. Granted, she's really only played in the school auditorium, but you're supposed to see the drummer on stage.

So Ritsu tries out other instruments. She blows at guitar and gives up on it after 1 minute. Even Yui didn't do that. She seemed alright at making the keyboard talk, but she probably couldn't play it too well. So Yui tries to play drums in case Ritsu does decide to quit.

But she doesn't, 'cause she watched Keith Moon and got inspired. That tends to happen. Then Mugi and Mio write a song together.

What's with goth Mio in the ED? Also, why is she singing in the ED both in this season and the first season? She's only the singer when Yui can't sing or just forgets the words (or forgets to sing entirely).

Yesss! Come to Los Angeles and we will snort cocaine off of Hollywood hookers before we roll out to the finest anime store on the west coast!
