Doesn't matter. Pay attention in class. Browsing the web while your teacher is trying to teach you something is disrespectful. Also there's more to school than academia. It is where you do learn your common knowledge, your street smarts and general knowhow. Don't male me go all Mr. T on you. Don't be a fool, pay attention in school.
I would recommend reading books. Wish I could do that, but they bored me during my teenage years and I have a hard time getting back into them.
As for music. You can learn a few of the big names. Just check up a few top 100 lists to see what's popular. You'll look like a right numpty if you don't know the words to Bohemian Rhapsody. But I wouldn't go out of my way listening to every band people mention. Chances are you'll hate them and it's better to just say you've never heard of a band then saying the other person their tastes are shit.
Of course I listen to songs from the 60s so all my life my music tastes have been at odds with most people.
I should sit down and do that. Geography is my weakest subject. I even forget the names of streets in my local area.
You can dress up as Phoenix Wright, but you can never be Phoenix Wright. That requires something deeper.

Xenoglossia exists ! Sure the girl personalities are twisted ..but it's still a fun anime with a good opening song.

i was talking about this episode as a whole. 205 had a weak start and a ok finish.clearly the weakest of the lot i've seen so far since 202.

This release marks the very first time The Rose of Versailles, also known as "Berusaiyu no Bara" and "Lady Oscar," will be available to English-speaking audiences in North America on DVD. Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment are also currently streaming the series via Viki (viki.com).
Set during the years preceding the French Revolution, The Rose of Versailles is a tale of romance and political intrigue that centers around Oscar François de Jarjayes, a young woman whose father has raised her as a man – and trained her to be an elite and skilled soldier – so she can succeed him as the commander of the palace guards.
The Rose of Versailles is based upon the best-selling manga (comic) by Riyoko Ikeda (Dear Brother, a.k.a. It was on at SLA last year - it was pretty great - but I can't say I've heard of it getting a more widespread release in these parts.

This show is kinda like those little bits in Nichijou where nothing is happening and the camera's just watching the town, except all the time.
Nao's a real perfectionist. A lot of artists tend to be like that, I guess. I like the way it pays off in this episode. There's some incidental detail in this episode that doesn't pay off the way you'd expect.
This is a tough show to discuss, because not a lot happens. But it's nice seeing something about people doing things they enjoy and loving what they do.

There were nice montages of failed pictures. I think they did a good job weaving those in without detracting from the sense of momentum in the running. I wish Hataraki Man had this kind of talent/money involved with the art.

This whole episode is fucking godly. First half consist of ass kicking of small fries then leading to a mind blown second half consisting of fuck awesome action, gintoki's past and ending with the Shinsengumi and Miwamarigumi crashing the party. My mind is full of fuck!!
