Interesting, though not surprising. Well, actually I guess I am a bit taken aback by the lack of 911 calls for the white kids trashing the car. I'd like to have heard interviews from the people who walked on by while the white kids were doing their thing to know why they didn't bother to phone it in?

I'm pretty sure this was posted on GAF before, and there were people defending it saying you can't really claim it was racism unless it was the same exact people watching the white guys messing with the car and the black guys messing with the car at the same time of day etc.

Not at all. Playing Let Us Cling Together the PSP version and it looks as good as FFT.
BCT is popeyes all other threads are KFC.

My dad in the last 5 years started going again and he's been trying to guilt trip me into going with him.

It actually looks better than FFT because the image quality is way better especially when you zoom out. FFT is so dreadful to play honestly, I always thought it was okay at best. I hate the gameplay plus how slow it is compared to other stratergy rpgs I play. Can't deal with it.

I just started getting them since i'll probably never get to see it otherwise. Each season is usually around $20 on Amazon. Have to get S4 and S5 sometime in the near future.
Gameplay wise... this game is scraping at the heels of Jeanne D'Arc. And that's probably my favorite SRPG behind Front Mission 3 and XCOM.
This game is top-tier.

Tactics isn't any slower than ogre. And the character models are better in tactics. The 3d rendering of the field, while nice at the time, hurts it with time. The 2d field of ogre while basic, still holds
The age old battle of story v gameplay. It depends for me. Were at the 7th gen of gaming heading into the 8th. At this point there should be a healthy balance of the 2. Not just FF but games in general.
Also Ive seen a few people list FFT high on there list of games/FF.
Jeanne D'Arc is good? I have that on my PSP

nah guinness is gross in its own way. it was some beer that you can get in those "create your own packs" at the grocery store. probably some local shit. i just drank it because i needed something to keep my beer pong run rolling.
