Unprofessional Fridays archive is up.

Is it just me or have they casually joked about doing a Endurance Run a bunch over the last 2-3 weeks? Like a lot more then they normally do.

Wonder if something is in the works. After PAX there is only one or two big games until August. Seems like a good time to do something like that.

You know, I was kinda getting that impression as well. I know an ER is a ton of work, but man the audience really loves 'em. It has to be good for business

"Brad is leaving" has run its course, its time for a new meme to rise up and take the throne.
I suggest we all switch to "Brad is dying", its the logical evolution of the old meme but so much funnier.

COME ON GUYS, WHO'S WITH ME!?!!

I wouldn't say it's necessarily an indication of anything, but I do believe they've joked about an Endurance Run during at least one live show every week for at least three weeks now.

Nah, that's too grim. Pulling a Brad is funny and Brad leaving is borderline.

Actually I shouldn't make that joke. Its not funny, and kind makes me think Im wishing ill on him when I would never do that

I just looked and you seriously weren't kidding it becomes dead after this month at least in relation to the stuff they normally cover outside of Injustice next month and Last of Us in June. Their output gets so bad when AAA games aren't coming out I really hope an Endurance Run is in the works. Hopefully this one has at least some VO I got super bored watching the Chrono Trigger one and never finished it.

Did video streaming just die? Was watching UF and it just stopped streaming, and now no videos will load :/

edit: And right after I post that it starts working again.

No one.

You don't make jokes like that about guys who are leaving, it's in poor taste.

I've been getting the impression they'll announce it at PAX, yeah.

It's easy to excuse terrible story and dialogue when the gameplay is still among the best in it's genre, or in video games period. I'll take a game like Starcraft, Vanquish, Bayonetta, or Dark Souls with bad or nonexistent story if the gameplay is top class.
One of these things is not like the other ones.

WoL required a massive balance overhaul on top of throwing the entire map pool into the dumpster just to pass itself off as playable. HotS is probably worse out of the gate but nobody will ever call Blizzard out on this because the assumption is that if you aren't playing professionally you don't understand the game. Evidently even the pros do not understand the game and still have to figure out how to overcome the ridiculous balance issues.

There are things SC2 does right with its gameplay, but it is not even as refined as its predecessors.

None of this is any different from SC1 and Brood War. These games are too complex to ever be released perfectly balanced. Brood War went through plenty of balance patches, Brood War launched with awful ladder maps that barely resembled the type of maps that were eventually used in professional games.

That's right, thanks. Pretty much was just the bear segment of that game.

I remember Condemned 2: Bloodshot being one of the first games they reviewed while Giant Bomb was still in beta just a few months after the Gamespot shitstorm.

Ryan gave it 5 stars. :lol

Edit: In other news, Condemned 2 and Giant Bomb are both five years old now. Holy shit.

I wouldn't know because I refuse to watch and support any content merger with the Gamespot crew. And, I think that will be my last words on this issue.

Come on man alot of the gs crew are decent fellows, I dont get the brad hate, so what he isnt a tier one gamer you dont have to be to review games. He aint leaving GB he is GB.
