I'm not the only one who thinks Killzone Shadow Fall looks better, right? Am I crazy?

Sometimes you just gotta stop, toss the rifle over your shoulder and enjoy the view.

Lets get this one out of the way.

HNNNNG DEM GRAPHICS!!

As for the single player gameplay, "eh." Seen it all before. Same tango whiskey delta oscar mike stuff as always complete with slow motion event to "look cool".

I wish they would do this, either make something similar to Spec Ops: The Line and question the player about warfare (and then throw him into the multiplayer to have fun with warfare for the sake of irony) or go back to the fun of the Bad Company 1 story. A bunch of misfits who go out on adventures in the spirit of Kelly's Heroes or something, at least that was entertaining. In short, give me these guys.

Battlefield 4 |OT| Omar Comin'
Battlefield 4 |OT| Coming at the King

If the OT subtitle does not reference The Wire -- I will be disappointed.

Whoa, that looks absolutely incredible. I have almost never been so engaged in watching a simple gameplay video, gut wrenching stuff.

Can't wait.

Some of the gifs here are brilliant!!

Looks good, but i cant help but feel worried about how EA are going to take MORE of my money to play parts of the game that should come with the purchase
Graphics are good.

But playing bioshock makes me wonder what these devs can do to spice up the modern military shooter story..

Drop single player all together?? Would many people even care?

My thoughts exactly.

Boring as hell. Show me MP footage.

this. i don't care about better graphics.
what i want to see is better gameplay.
Destruction 4.0?
i want to know if steel grids and railings are now no solid walls with invisible textures anymore, but real railings and grids that i can shoot through?
a sneak peak at commander mode would have been nice, maybe one or two new vehicles?

It's probably just me but does anyone hate how guns in fpsers are constantly at the ready? I'm just past like 5:30 everyone has their gun down/resting on shoulder bu the player character.

It looks very pretty and very dull. I'd excuse this as EA knowing what the market want from a military FPS, but that didn't work for MoH.

"Press F to cut leg" ugh, come on. After Walking Dead this was just embarrassing.

Also a little weird that there is no enter animation when he uses the sand buggy. It makes sense in the multiplayer but in Singleplayer it's just weird.

Was also expecting that they'd make a bigger deal about female soldiers. Instead there's just some 1 second glance of some soldier who looks better than every topmodel.

PDZ / COD2 vs BF3 / Halo 4... there was indeed a curve this gen.

Don't think that will happen this gen.
x86 most game engine programmers know that as if it is water.
DirectCompute or Compute shader multiplat devs already know spu and DirectCompute code.
Multicore cpu they already know that from this gen.

The graphical curve will probably come from dropping fps or resolution at the very end.

I can't deny it looks absolutely beautiful but after BF3's singleplayer campaign my excitement about the video is all about any hints it can give me about the MP experience. I think I may finally be truly burnt out on military shooter single player campaigns.

Still, if it looks like this on the PS4 and they have the expected proper MP without the choked player numbers it could easily be the game that pushes me to a day one purchase of the console.

Why didn't this show in the demonstration? Probably a mistake to opt for the storytelling angle and forgoing narration explaining the design.

well they kinda did, highlighting enemies and order the squad mates to suppress the little jeep for example. its kinda hard to show different options in a single play trough. you would need a new video for that and show the same sequence but played trough allot more diffidently.

I have little interest in this type of game these days, but damn that looked pretty. Really hope the next gen console versions look like that.

Gameplay is a good excuse.

Yea it's detrimental to gameplay to have you instantly teleport inside of a vehicle without there being some sort of drawback.

Vehicles are power weapons teleporting instantly to the 120mm gun of an abrams is not only unrealistic but not balanced for infantry.

That was pretty damn cool to be honest. The first few minutes were a bit boring, and the grenade throwing and fire looked really unnatural. However once they hit the more open area (with the birds) it is pretty cool.

However I know how the Battlefield III singleplayer worked out, worst singleplayer ever, halfway the game I got a bug so I had to restart the WHOLE game, I didn't even bother starting it again.

If the game looks this / 60 fps / 64p on next gen consoles I'm happy.

still miles away from what I was expecting. I was expecting near CGI quality or let's say near real life quality. atm I'm disappointed from the footage..

take this as an example. No trolling. This looks nearly the same as BF 3 on Ultra Settings.
