Big Boss in the Diamond Dogs gear with the cigar and Harley is probably after everything else considering he appears to have a bionic hand.

Apart from the white hair, he doesn't even look particularly old. He looks like a cross between his appearances in 3 and 1.
(Using Twin Snakes because it's a better choice for comparison than the blurry PS1 original or Shinkawa's artwork.

While I love mgs, I really wish Kojima would have gone with a new ip. The mgs universe is pretty fubar at this point. I mean he's running out of shit to retcon.
Maybe he'll finally show the events right before or during outer heaven.
Normally I don't care about stories in games, but Kojima puts a lot of emphasis in mgs.

Solid/Liquid are born before Peace Walker? I thought they cloned Boss during his coma. The coma is definitely after Peace Walker, though. When does Big Boss supposively find out about the twins? Isn't that the point that he splits from the Patriots/Zero? Is my understanding of everything totally jacked? lol

Yep. I just posted that before. The real person is the kid Psycho Mantis while the burning horned figure is wed around him à la Susano or Devil Bringer. The whole surreal things in the game are all Psycho Mantis' work. I still don't know the obsession with horns in this game: burning horned figure, unicorn, horned Big Boss, Project Ogre/Oni.

apparently big boss went into coma 2 times, the first one is only for a short time happened before Peace Walker and this is when Zero start the cloning project.

Yeah, Big Boss was into comas, a short one in the early 70's and then a 9 years long one in 1980 I think.
Plus whatever he was into once he was burned to death and then rebuild

Yeah I'm kind of annoyed by it as well. With all the stuff going on in the trailer and gameplay demo and whatnot, the horn is the only thing that rubs me the wrong way for some reason.
I don't like it one bit.
Yeah it was amazing. Also when the camera focuses on the Helicopter outside. Dat Reaper sound.

Again, that's according to a line from the English version of Metal Gear Solid. The original (Japanese) version didn't say anything about a coma.
So that might be "Blaustein-canon", but...
(Not that Kojima cares all that much about sticking to his own canon anyway.)
If that part is the end of "Ground Zeroes" (and it seems to be), Solid Snake would be around... 2, at that point. Anyway, not even a teenager. Seems somewhat unlikely.

We've already seen someone who probably is a kid Psycho Mantis. Theres a dude with a mask who seems to be a shape-shifter and could be Decoy Octopus. I don't think its a stretch to think that Sniper Wolf and Vulcan Raven or people related to them could show up in this game.
Can someone explain to me Big Boss being burned and reconstructed from Solidus?
Surely we aren't talking about him being burned in MG1, right? He would have had to be reconstructed again in order to show up in MG2, correct? How could he have been reconstructed that fast from Solidus' parts, when Solidus is perfectly fine in MGS2, only shown to be hacked to bits in MGS4?
