It's not too ridiculous, I could see it happening. Going by the genetic themes hinted by XY, going back to one of the most popular genetically engineered Pokemon from a story standpoint isn't that Farfetch'd.
is it though? i get that coming across a duck with leek is far fetched (just needs hoisin sauce and pancakes) but doesnt make it genetically engineered does it?
Sound would be great, but then it begs the question if they're gonna do it now, why only now. Too many Pokemon were obviously internally designed for that type, yet they didn't go with it every single time.
Also yeah if it is coming retroactively, it will probably only apply to monotypes. GameFreak likes in-game consistency and "we discovered this new type!!" works much better than "we discovered this new type!! also 12 billion pokemon which we thought were a different type are actually NOT, they are this type!!!"

Not to this extent. You forget I have been covering games since GS, and with XY, it is the most I've seen of people saying they're returning to Pokémon. With it being worldwide launch, everyone is going into it at the same level too, knowing the same stuff without the entire game having been covered which also seems to excite a lot of people

I hope we can actually move in a 3D plane and not the four-directional movement that's been the mainstay of the series. And I'd like to see the overworld models touched up before launch. But I am damned excited for this, even with all of the 3DS greatness that is coming this year.

There isn't anything wrong with that, but there's a circle pad on the 3DS for a reason.
Yeah, that does sound nice, the Circle Pad is pretty awful for grid movement in Pokemon Black and White. The system does have a DPad, but still would be nice to utilize the system's hardware a bit more since it's there and it'd be more comfortable with the symmetry.

I prefer using the d pad on games where both can be used. And on pokemon I would definatly use it.

Old, but I wanted to point out that, at least on the bag, he is draw from a low angle, which would increase the size of the head relative to the body.

There's been a few people claiming to have been the person to fake it, but without any of them producing production shots, it's impossible to tell if they're just trolling or not.
I wouldn't think it's that probably that a faker would have revealed it by now though. If this is a hoax, it's one of the most successful hoaxes in the fandom for a very long time. They'd have the ability to milk this until at least the end of Smash, and potentially right up until the release of the usual magazines. Why wouldn't they milk it for as long as they possibly could?

Yes, and many did that for the Unova Starter evolutions that everyone, including yourself, was insisting were fake. People troll in many ways so it's always best to ignore people without proof

Yeah. The image is allegedly the Present Guide for the upcoming movie: Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens. As such, it's focusing on the movie and the image is an adaptation of the poster for the movie. The Present Guide will be distributed on April 20th when people prebook their movie tickets

Im pretty hyped for the movie but damn if mewtwo changes..especially to that. Well if he has a big part in pokemon X & Y I would be fine though cause mewtwo does need some kind of comeback and that movie seems perfect from what Ive seen.
I'm thinking it makes perfect sense. This new Mewtwo form, if legit, looks very aerodynamic. Mewtwo has to face against the ultra fast Red Genesect, so speed is necessary. Plus it shares some characteristics with this, also who is aerodynamically streamlined

It does make sense the way you put it. Im surprised mewtwo will be having trouble against it. In the movies other than mew mewtwo seems like he possibly the most powerful pokemon. Better (IMO anyway. I like the pelvis and hips better on this one) Fan-art to show some other ideas people have on how it may end up looking when we can see the full body.
That artstyle is pretty good, artist mimics Ken Sugimori pretty well.
As for what was drawn, I admire the artist's talent here, but that still looks ridiculous compared to the original.
