New Pokemon X and Y info cometh next weekend!

What rightful place? I am going to be real with you, mewtwo ain't as popular you may think. Its just a bunch of dudes yelling about their childhoods really loud. They are trying to market him again, though it probably not going to work.

Like I said before.

This is the new badass of pokemon. I advise you get used to it.

Also they can both get in because odds are in the next smash, there will be 5 contenders per major franchise, so yeah.

No its unimaginative

also I would argue that gen3 and forward look more like animals than gen 1/2

Mewtwo is one of the most popular pokemon. Far more popular than Lucario.

jinx is just an anthropomorphic design, such as mr mime,or machop/machoke/machamp,or again hitmonlee and hitmonchan

as didn't said they have to look like animals, but they have to look like something that can be generated by nature, many pokèmon nowadays don't seem like that

anyway,we pretty much explained our points at this stage,i think we can conclude that is a matter of taste

Escavalier is explicitly a case of a Pokemon stealing another Pokemon's shell and wearing it.

It can only really be rejected if the likes of Cubone are.

Or Dwebble. AND WE DO NOT TALK SHIT ABOUT DWEBBLE.

She is wearing a dress. A DRESS.
Machoke and Machamp have speedos and belts with the letter P on them and Hitmonchan is wearing a ton of clothing.

Says who again?

Even in the original Red and Blue, they never held to a standard of basing the creatures on animals or nature. In fact, the flavor text for a lot of them emphasizes odd, but pradictable behaviors and supernatural powers and has more in common with youkai and criptids than with anything from nature. Some of them are even based on specific youkai directly.

Hilariously enough I love Blastoise and Venusaur more than boringZard because the two have something unique to them (cannons and plant) vs. generic lizard whose ass tail is on fire. Guess which is popular.

This is why I love new mons over older ones. Older ones lack creativity that you can feel they are made as-is. You only have creative stuff on surprisingly weird ones like Exeggutor (a youkai!).

People may hate Garbador, but they do not appreciate its overall design - all they see is LOL GARBAGE. I see a really sweet homage to Totoro complete with size, smile and even some of its description.

Yeah I wonder who was able to survive merchandising beside Pikachu, with Mewtwo only being relevant because of the movie?

The mechanics involve grid movement. Get rid of that and many mechanics are gone and from what I can tell, it wouldn't be replaced.

not really. if your talking about steps for eggs and such, then it could literally be every step the foot actually touches floor. and if you mean trainer interaction and finding items, it would just have hotspots where they would see you/interace with item.

if thats what you mean?

Oh please, Snorlax was coincidence because it was the typical "big monster" look with fandom doing their fan stuff. Garbodor is backed up by OFFICIAL stuff.

It's the zard I hate, Charmander and Charmeleon are a-ok!

Though both don't compare to the bulbasaur line as far as creativity goes. And even squirtle line doesn't get creative until Blastoise.

That stuff was already figured out in Colosseum.

That's a really well-thought-out article. It makes me love Garbodor even more than I did before!

That line will always have a special place in my heart because it's my little brother's favourite line, and he bought Black (his first Pokémon game) just to use them.

On a related note how are 90's pokemon fans know about digimon?

because pokemon 1998, digimon 2000 it was that earlier 2000 period where everything japan got dumped on the US at once

all the animane on toonami, den japamanese vidya with all the animu like characters, all dat

1997 - 2006 japan was making bank

Like what? They already pretty much got rid of strength rocks.

Yup, talking about things that use steps to keep track of stuff. I guess you could be right.

Colliseum's way was pretty shit.
