DD has become an invisible floater since getting the big contract. He's useless defensively and despite getting tons more icetime and PP time, only has 1 more point than Eller and 2 more than AGally.

Ugh. Should have shipped DD off to Dallas with Cole.

I'm not really sure what the love affair is with DD. It's either the coaching staff trying really hard to get his line going because they were so good last year or it's because he caters to the ignorant french fanbase. His comments give me a sliver of hope they'll be split if they keep playing like they are, but I doubt it.

Part of it is definitely the fact that they were so good last season. I think Desharnais practices really hard as well or something. I remember Therrien complaining about Eller's practice habits early in the season. Basically DD is the teacher's pet.

We could definitely make Montreal shit bricks over a 6-7 game series if we were healthy. Hard to say who would win. Pittsburgh maybe not but we took them to 6 games with Brian Smelliott in net a few years ago.

Lolwut. Habs have way too much depth for Sens to pull out of a 7 game series without Karlsson and Spezza. The only teams in the East that can match the Habs depth wise are the Bruins and Pens, and without Bergeron the Bruins are a different team.
