But its going to be great. Hliary, Edwards, and Obama duking it out for the democratic bid is going to be better than the actua presidential election.
First debate of the democratic primary in in April.

It will be damn awesome to watch.

My prediction is Obama will win all the debates, regardless if he gets nominated or not. He will excell in the debates. Hillary will stumble I feel, she doesn't seem like a strong debater.

Yeah, thats why I said I would likely end up losing all faith in my country if Obama runs. He is going to far and away seperate himself from opposing canidates from both sides, yet people will still find irrelevant reasons not to vote for him.

Yeah but aren't there still all those racists and anti-female ppl out there that would make it hard for either of them to win the election?

Yeah, but I doubt many of that sort would vote dem no matter who the candidate was.

And with that millions of Republicans just got an anger boner. Trust me, the Karl Roves of the country are very excited with this news:lol

People who support Hillary for president haven't looked too closely at her politics.

And being a woman shouldn't have any bearing on whether or not she is qualified for the job. Just supporting someone because they are a woman or because they are black (or a man or white), is not the way to pick out good leaders. You need to look at their policies. Doing otherwise is irresponsible and rather ignorant.

Nader!

If she is the nominee I might do a write in for her husband or something. But one thing is for sure no patriotic self respecting American can vote for the Iraq War loving McCain.

GOP, please nominate Romney or Rudy.

I'm pretty liberal, but I'm not a fan of Hilary. I hope Obama crushers her. I think he or Edwards will do so.

God I hope so. The one good thing is Democratic primary voters almost NEVER vote for the front runner.

The last time they voted for a front runner in a open primary was Mondale.

No Jacob. You know what must be done.

I can see her winning the Democratic nomination with all of the in party support she is going to get, but losing badly if the Republicans can come up with any semi decent moderate candidate.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Basically no male Republican will vote for her. I also know several women who wouldn't. Pretty much any of them over the age of 50, or that are anything resembling "traditional" just can't stand her. They didn't like her before, and they certainly don't like her "in charge." I think there are even some of this type who would not bother to vote, but dislike her enough that it would draw them to the polls. My mom, liberal in some ways as she is, would vote for anyone that ran against her no matter what the other guy believed.

I really, really hope the Democrats bring someone else, because I want the Republicans out of office but I refuse to vote for Hillary for so very many reasons. Obama or Edwards, either of them will work.

QFT. Fox News is probably melting right now.

I truly believe it's in the republican's BEST interest that Hillary wins the nomination and beats out Obama. They'll sit back and watch Hillary go after Obama and possibly help (Fox is already smearing him); I doubt Obama will go after anyone. If Hillary wins they'll have a decades worth of napalm waiting for her.

Where the hell is Gore? :(

I don't hate Hillary, but I also don't like her. I'm from New York. I always wonder why the rest of the country hates her so much.

Uh I'm all for a female president, but her policies just don't gel. I hope she gets eaten alive in the primaries. Obama is the best canidate for any party (indy, dem, replublican). He's the closest thing we have to restoring foreign policy and making this country right again.

This country is mostly occupied by stupid ignorant ****s though, so.

I'm from New York and I pretty much hate her.

Nah...they've already shot their load. She's had more dung flown at her then pretty much anybody in history and hasn't cracked yet, there's nothing else they could possibly bring. She's the future-proof battle-tested candidate.

We'll see about that.

It would be a bad thing for your country if she were to take the nomination. It would also keep up the frankly bizarre and damaging timeline of recent Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton presidencies.

Obama for the win, please.

I'm mostly ambivalent about Hillary. I find it funny how brainwashed people are in thinking she's the anti-christ. If people could articulate why that is without bringing up mid 90's talk radio hate speech (murdering Vince Foster wtf?) I'll be all ears. In fact, she's about as moderate, centrist as they get; to a fault perhaps.

All of this triangulation bullshit pisses me off too, shit or get off the pot. Yet it's those that these positions should most appease that have the most irrational hatred of her. I won't lie, that kind of irrational hate does make me root for her.

The bush/clinton/bush/clinton does really trouble me though.

I am not racist, but I am being realistic. The Democrats are basically handing the presidency to the the Republicans.

I mean come on, their two top picks are an African American and a woman.

What's interesting is those two have legitimate shots at winning. The anti-Bush/republican sentiment might be strong enough to overcome the American bias. I'd love for us to join the 21st ****ing century and put a woman in power.

I'm torn though, since I really don't like Hillary. She's too much of an opportunist. I'd support her as a VP candidate, though. Obama or Edwards with Clinton as VP I could support.

why? what's wrong with my statement?

At this moment, the US is more like an insecure, dumb teenage boy with his juvenile hormones going around threatening people and people laugh at him. Grow up already, the US military don't scare nobody, look at Syria, Iran or North Korea. They don't look scare at all.

China with all of its might is just waiting for the right time to **** up the US real bad

It's going to be interesting how this all plays out. On one hand you have the far left lunatics in th Democratic Party who would want a Howard Dean or Kucinich in th White House and on the other hand you have more traditional Democrats like Hillary who did support the war and continue to do so.

The US military is by far the most powerful military in the world. You think China comes even close to matching our Naval and Air Force power?:lol

So are you saying that the majority of white America is racist and sexist? Racism is just as prevalent in the black community as it is in the white community. As usual the far left on this board has everything backwards.

When you have nukes, all other factors are pointless.

China can kill 50 million of Americans as well as the Americans can kill 50 million Chineses. And at that rate, the Americans will dissappear much faster before the Chinese

the ones that bother to vote probably are.

There is no way that's true. Racism is just as prevalent in other racial communities as it is in white America.

What is one of the main reasons Obama is getting the hype his getting? Because he is a potential African American President. The majority of Americans want to see something major like that happen.

Either way a nuclear winter would kill 98% of Earth's population so who gets killed faster by the initial attacks doesn't really matter.

well then we go back to my original point, military might is becoming irrelevant nowadays, thus we need a smarter and gentler US, not the cowboys US like we have now
