2 papers due next wednesday, 1 half done and the other not started yet. Thankfully I really have nothing else to do for the rest of my classes until then, so I've got a lot of time to get that shit done before then. Won't be pretty though. Honestly if I could just get to finals week with my sanity intact I'll do fine. Cramming, study schedules, I can deal with that. Papers which requires extensive research, interpretation, actual writing, proofreading, and revision after revision, especially over the course of a semester when you can't take a day off without feeling like shit for not working on it, THAT bugs me. When your free time after class is no longer your own, especially in my last semester where just about all academic motivation is shot, it really begins to grate on you after a while. I'm damn glad I chose to work at least a year between graduation and med school, because there's no way I'm mentally ready for med school yet. Just give me a 9-5 job for a while where I can clock in, do my work, and go home and just let go for a while.
Of course 15 credits and holding down a part time job at 10 hours a week kinda cut into that as well.
