Removing frames is one way. You'd need another program like Imageready to change the frame timing though.

the one in the below post is 14mb and it still loaded faster than Sunhi's GIF

Would have gone a lot quicker if I had this.

In fact most of the 5-10mb gifs posted here have loaded quite nicely. Sunhi's GIF essence is unusually complicated.
