What's this? Some Game Dev Story-inspired game?

nope.. Life of Pixel, a PSM game

Top of Page Recommendations
(1) Get Soul Sacrifice
(2) Get Guacamelee
(3) Get P4G
(4) Get PS+ (Gravity Rush, Wipeout 2048, Uncharted and more!)
(5) Get your friends to buy a Vita

Game Dev Story/Tycoon on the Vita would be amazing.

So no one played Dragon Fantasy? Just wondering if it's worth it.

It's basically an old-school, 8/16-bit RPG with a bit of humour added in. If you like the original Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy (Legend of Zelda, too, though not to the same extent), you'll love it.

You decide.

Ooh, cute boy alert in the Vita thread.

I've been trying to go and beat some of the games I got far into but never finished. I'm on Rayman Origins right now and just got to the last world. MAN it has some challenge to it! My goodness.

Looks really nice, though.

^ Awesome, you'll love it! Especially with the games all ready and waiting.

It's crazy how Lumines ES doesn't get a platinum but Farming Simulator does lol :S

Lumines just also happens to be the only game (currently) that I've actually 100% hah.

Started playing my Vita without a grip today. I don't know what mutations occurred over the last few months, but I think it's actually pretty comfortable to hold now.

It's one of Takao's regular cryptic posts. You get a token whenever you guess right, and at the end of the month, there's a raffle!

first and last time you'll hear this:

i posted in the BST thread, but im not sure how many vita people check it...

i have a PSASBR code if anyone wants to trade another code for it.

I guess one of these days I'll grab P4G as a retail copy (since DL isn't cheaper and space is such a massive problem with the Vita) but for now I've got VLR and that probably fills the same kind of role.

Not sure about getting Soul Sacrifice, the demo wasn't very convincing from what I played and I don't like third person melee (unless it's something like one hit kills).

Hrm.. found out my paypal debit card doesn't work on PSN for whatever reason? Was hoping to purchase Life of Pixel and then Soul Sacrifice later. bah.

Anyone else having problems using a paypal debit card with PSN?

I think I'll wait for DFII, seems like it has more effort put into it, and made specifically for Vita too.

Why not try to pay through paypal?

Sounds shapes is that Crack!!!

But You can tell the majority of user content are from people who haven't got a ounce of musical ability.

Does anyone know any good sounding levels I can look for? Or better yet a website with rankings?

And sound shapes 2 needs to have a music import feature. Import your fave tune and the game makes a level based on it.

Never thought my first platinum trophies would be vita games

just got Plats on Gravity Rush and Guacamelee. Amazing games.

Ok, so I was playing PlayStation All Stars on my Vita and something weird happened.

I was going online and picked Sly as my character only to somehow end up playing as Emmett. I don't even have any of the DLC. What happened?

I remember something similar happening to me in the beta, picking a character and ending up with another when the match started. Never happened to me in the full game though.

Jeff Minter reveals why the press hasn't been given access to Vita devkits for video capture:

As you can see the two systems are pretty much identical except for the small black bull attached to the bottom of the development machine. This bull is vitally important, for without it the development system cannot load and run code at all. Each byte is inspected for purity and security by the bull as it passes into the development Vita. Any unsuitable code elicits loud and continuous mooing and the immediate shutdown of the device, requiring the acquisition and feeding to the bull of special Sony reboot hay from top-secret laboratories in Japan.

(He also talks a bit about how development on TxK is going.)

Should I buy Atelier Totori Plus having never played an Atelier game before.

Depends if you can live without the bikinis and supporting full-price digital localizations.
I'd say buy Rorona, put CFW on your PS3 and play it on remote play. And then a physical PS3 copy of Totori if that works on remote play, which was only $20 recently.

If I see this right, that is not the
Land of the Livid Dead
and that means there is something waiting for you after you finished the "last world".

I was thinking the same thing. Seriously, fuck that world. I died like 30000000000000000000000000000000000 times :(

I wonder if Sony will do physical release collections for the Vita indie games. I can see The Walking Dead, and Minecraft (if it happens) going physical.

Did Origins on Vita get good sales numbers? Its the best port on Vita i've ssen so far.
Legends on Vita with multiplayer... I'd send a love letter to ubisoft.
