I dropped the kids off at my aunts house and left the Wii U with them. My uncle asked me what it was, and I told him it was the new Nintendo system. He had a shocked look on his face and ask me how much it cost.
My little cousin interrupts and says, "Do NOT buy me that. I already have a Wii and can't play Halo on it"
Heh.
You will never be able to convince anyone here that Nintendo is not for the kids but anyone with extended family knows little kids love the cool and mature stuff so whatever that thing is be it Playstation or Xbox that is the conversation at school that is the hot topic.
This is why the family image is so bad for Nintendo the only ones that get a Wii / Wii U are those with concerned moms and dads who see Nintendo as the safer way to go. But if you ask a kid the answer changes.
Report back and tell us if playing the Wii U has changed the desire for Halo. Sometimes hands on is the best way to find out.
