The games will determine whether I buy these consoles day one or not.
Money isn't an issue. I just sold my Atari Jaguar and Panasonic 3DO for $400AU combined which adds to the $700 I had saved up. I'll gather more before release.
But I'm not going to buy for the sake of it. ZombiU and NSMBU made the WiiU worth it at launch.
Right now, third party games look great, but there's no point buying BOTH a PS4 and new Xbox day one for that.
It'll come down to exclusives for a day one purchase. Right now, the PS4 line up is looking meh to say the least. But all we have on Xbox is rumours.
Alan Wake 2, Crackdown 3 or a decent looking new IP would clinch it for me. Otherwise, id wait on both. There's plenty on PS360 to keep me going.

well, if he really was able to play with it, then the specs are set in stone, now for that to happen the unit could not have hardware update from the "VG leaks "2013" specs leak, but i could be wrong.
Could have played it as recently as a week ago for all we know.
So 1.2 tflops confirmed?
Probably a dev kit with a controller, a la PS4.

One thing regarding the rumored prices. As someone who use to run multiple gamestop locations, if they really want this 299.99 with subscription plan to work they HAVE to allow stores to sign people up right there, they already have cell phone sign ups, etc. so they can handle it.
Right now for the 99.99 360 plan you have to goto MS's site and sign up there and then take a coupon to the store.
If they allow stores to do the sign up they will get a LOT more to go this route. Working retail for 12 years, this will be huge for MS if they do it right.

Yeah, I think the 360 sub is basically a test case for this coming gen. If they want it to catch on, they'll definitely need to let shops dole it out as well.
