I reckon Titan will be like Mass Effect.... exclusive to Infinity for a fixed period.
I can only comment on using smartglass with HBO go. It's less than ideal. It takes a while to sync, loses connection any time the iPad goes to sleep, etc. It does work although I don't think using my phone or tablet to pause a movie is any easier than just using voice or the controller.

I could see MS picking up Respawn's game since the EA partners thing is dead. If not EA, who else besides MS, Sony, or Activision is big enough to publish their game? And we know Activision isn't doing it.

I want a SmartGlass 2.0, could be great, the current SG is good, even you can play with dashboard and use it as a mouse in IE.

it is pretty much confirmed the game is exclusive to MS consoles...they have already picked it up. The rumors were very specific
I don't think we're going to see a Smartglass 2 it's more likely going to be treated more like a evolving service rather than a product.

Yes, the 2.0 is not for a replacement, I mean a "plus"/improved version, with more support from developers.

Apparently Major Nelson is desperately trying to bodge together a Nextbox console out of old PC towers and double-sided sticky tape so he doesn't look like a fool for pointing out the lack of a PS4 at Sony's event.
If they were smart, they would have a consolidated XBox Live and XBox Music membership available, along with maybe 1 or 2 free movies of your choice per month on XBox Video and maybe a couple free digital game rentals. They really need to push Gold value if they want to increase\maintain memberships.

Well I mean MS publishing it. I think, if I remember reading the rumors correctly that EA was still publishing it, but it was just coming to the Durango and 360.
In no way is it confirmed - that was just a rumor. I would still be very surprised if it was Xbox-exclusive.

Right there with you. This is quite possibly the last traditional console reveal ever. Just let that possibility sink in. It's a little heartbreaking.
In any case, the Wii U reveal, the PS4 reveal and this has all been one hell of a ride and I hope there's a lot more to come over the next few weeks and months.
I don't want too many leaks. The PS4 event was perfect because we got to see a rough image of what the controller was and that was it. Putting a console/controller to the thing makes me a whole lot more excited. It just makes it more real.
I agree, and I don't know if I'm too optimistic about gaming but I always feel that when a new console is about to be unveiled. There's always a chance we get to see something really amazing and different, especially when Kinect 2.0 or other projects like Illumniroom/Fortazela are involved.

Illumiroom is still the product of Microsoft Research. It isn't going to be anywhere any time soon.
I had noticed the last few weeks on Live MS were offering a free rental from the Xbox video store the films they were giving away were shit though.
If MS does have BC I could see them offering a lot of XBLA games for free would certainly get my attention as I missed quite a few of them.

I agree with Bacon, Ford. I think the fact that we saw the thing in action officially (it wasn't a leak, right? Wasn't it released through official channels?) means that it won't be coming for a while. It could be like Microsoft's Kinect of this generation, breathing new life into the console half-way through a super-long cycle.

A "ninja-something" IP for Xbox would be great! I like Ninja Blade, but a I want a new Ninja IP with Itagaki.
I am really excited for the reveal, especially after the rumor that it wont be always online. Call of Duty and Forza being the main games i really want to see. I just want the same games but...prettier.
However Alan Wake 2, if such a game is being made as heavily rumored, i really hope they make the game weirder, more disturbing, unsettling, sorta like Team Silent's Silent Hill games 1-4.
I enjoyed the original AW, but it felt too sterile and plain, nothing was really disturbing or out of place, by-the-numbers horror conventions. Really hope they show that game and just add some insane enemies and enviourments, even the show they are inspired by, Twin Peaks, had that weird vibe to it. It was creepy at all times, just the way it was shot and all
Also hoping Fallout 4 is shown, that game has to be in development surely? They must have a short trailer at least? They need some sort of RPG in there to balance CoD, EA's sports games and Kinect stuff + a racing game, PGR or Forza

its a third person shooter as far as i now and it has nothing to do with ninjas

I really hope they show Forza, but I think they'll follow the same template that Sony did and just show their smaller IPs (Alan Wake, maybe Crackdown) and introduce some new ones.

It's still not clear if they intend to turn it into a real product. And there are many reasons that would make that questionable.
If we're talking new types of displays, I'm more wondering if those rumored AR glasses are a real thing, and if they're going to talk about them.

That's it. According to the leaked roadmap, they intended to release them one year after the release of the console, which would be quite fast. I don't expect to see them on the market any time soon, but it would be cool to have a reveal this year, to make us dream (actually I'm not even sure I would buy those, but it would definitely be a cool device).

It's pretty much confirmed. Don't remember the name of the poster, but he's got a 100% track record and he hinted it before the rumour was picked up by websites and after that he basically confirmed it. If you still don't believe it then ..
