Broncos Rushmore: Elway, Sharpe, Atwater, Champ and Rod Smith

No papa Peyton without super bowls.

Neck beard is the towel boy and janitor of cleaning out shit stained toilets.

Bills Mt. Rushmore = a bunch of guys from those Super Bowl loser teams... because the only other choice is O.J. and that clearly ain't gonna happen

Jim Kelly
Thurman Thomas
Bruce Smith
Marv Levy or Andre Reed (I would lean Levy myself)

If Peyton wins you 1 Super Bowl he's on your Mt Rushmore? And people say I'm delusional.
When you only got two, one more skyrockets you to the heavens of Denver Broncos history. Peyton deserved a co MVP with Peterson it was easily one of his best. This is not even the tequila talking dude.

Eagles:
Chuck Bednarik
Steve Van Buren
Reggie White
Brian Dawkins

Honorable Mention:
Tommy MacDonald
Norm Van Brocklin

Dawkins being there could go either way. I never saw the honorable mentions play.

But he's just a gun for hire?

RIP Jack Butler

Yet Butler says most of the credit should go to a work ethic and a little bit of naivety. He didn't know what he was doing when the Steelers signed him to a $4,000 contract in 1951.

crazy how salaries have changed

I think I'd have to put TD over Champ/Smith. He was more important to those Superbowl teams than anyone on that list bar Elway.

My recent history Rushmore would be:

Elway
TD
Sharpe
Atwater
Champ

Honorable Mention: Karl Mecklenburg, I wish he could have won one.

This is a tough one. If he wins one he will be adored, he will still be looked at like a Colt then a Bronco. If he wins two, I think he gets chiseled in on Rushmore. I think if he wins two, he is certifiably a Bronco first, then a Colt. If that makes sense, even with more years in Indy.

If it wasn't for Davis, Elway would of ended like Marino and Kelly. How dare you Slay!

Seems like the Amy Trask thing wasn't totally amicable. She was business side working on getting a stadium. Guess there are looming estate tax issues as well, but don't know what her full purview was

The interesting part will be when we find out that 135 percent of the team is owned by various people

McNabb has to go on that list. I know Eagles fans don't all love him, probably ahead of Dawkins

You made me cry. I hope you're proud of yourself.

I cannot change facts. Ravens stole Dumerville It is all part of the game.

I love Davis it is just that running him to a short career pulls him down unfortunately while Rod lasted so long. Elways go to reciever and he played beyond Elway's time. Davis is one of the best examples of why teams rarely draft RBs in the first round anymore. Because they average very short careers.

Hey, the Colts gave him up the same way they gave up Brett Farve. I was mad at the Packers for years for dumping Farve even with Farve's constant retiring drama fiasco. The colts gave up on Peyton for new blood, and Peyton has reason to be slightly mad about this though he never bad mouths his old team. No matter what it will make him a Denver great as he just is so epic compared to almost all.

Peyton has reason to be slightly mad at the cColts as they did cast him aside for new blood though Peyton does not display it much. One Superbowl would make him a hero here even if the majority judged him as a Colt as they should. Thing is he still is the main ingredient to turning the Broncos offense into the second highest scoring last year and desreves a lot of credit by all if he wins one.

Marino only went to one Super Bowl. Elway went to 5. c
