Nitendo should abandon Wii U, develop games on PS4/Durango/3DS, and when next next gen comes around, abandon Sony/MS and build a truely powerful system. By that time, all the hardcore Sony and MS fans would be hooked on Nintendo and be forced to buy the new Nintendo system.

Well, he's right. Nintendo has always been quite selfish in it's strategy, it has never benefited the 3rd party.

There was more third party software purchased for the Wii than the other two platforms for the time the Wii was relevant.

There are a few exceptions, but I don't think EA Sports games have ever sold particularly well on Nintendo's platforms, though.

Nah, telling the truth would be saying the truth, Wii U is more powerful than the PS3/360, even the NFS team said it, and they are owned by EA.

Power isn't linear. The GPU is better than the 360's, but the CPU leaves a lot to be desired and when your game barely sells why spend all the money reworking it for a totally different architecture?

I kinda think it's looking worse than the DC. Ignoring Nintendo's money it's like a DC with fewer games that is selling slower with Saturn HW. Only advantage is that there isn't a "PS2", but I guess 99$ PS3/360 would be equally bad.
The DC sold more the first two weeks than the WiiU did the first four weeks.
