-_- I can teach someone GG a hell of a lot easier than I can BB. GG isn't that complex. The illusion of it being so is kind of silly.

I played GGX and XX for upwards of a year and could never get good at either. I had a character I was comfortably good with at BB in a few days.

Zappa, Robo-Ky, order Sol, Kliff and Justice are out, I'm confident of that. Venom, ABA, Anji I-No, and Axl might be dropped as well, but not all of them. My predictions.

I'd say high level GG is harder just due to FRCs.

I really hope they don't make the damage insanely small like blazblue.
 
Fell asleep during Arc Fes, woke up to this. Best morning ever.

I'm a huge advocate of sprites but I'm completely fine with this. Not feeling Ky's appearance, hope they either change it or create a classic/King Ky alt. Sol looks great and I love his new lighter-shaped sword. Just wish he had his AC version of Grand Viper instead.

Interested in how the clashing in the middle of the trailer tuns out. It seems whoever does the weaker attack in a clash gets stunned.

But ABA hate? One of the best designs and the best theme and stage by far? Crazy good high end play?

I hope all your faves get nerfed

historically, most of the characters I end up maining get:

A) Nerfed (Dante, Jin, Strider Hiryu)
B) Become Low tier (Guy, Lobo, Rain, Yunsung)
C) get dropped (Soul Calibur's Hwang, Yunsung)

so far the only exceptions are Vergil and Kazuya

What about BB is harder to explain in your opinion?

I don't think GG is less accessible either. I've heard it called needlessly complex and convoluted but I never understood why. Beyond FRCs being a necessary bit of execution after a certain level of play I don't really get it.

I can't support any of these character cuts : (

Why it kept getting more boring until Phantasma changed things up. Also, why the hell are DLC characters seven fiddy?
 
I find it unlikely that my main will return, at least in the first revision. But then, that's what I get for maining Robo-Ky. I also hope for some badass new characters.
 
The gap between Japanese arcade release and US console is too long for Arc System Games. By the time US got their console version, they already announced a XXrd or Xrd+ in Japan(which will take another long gap to update in the console).

The character specific stuff is a lot more intensive than in GG first of all. Everyone in GG is very different from each other, but in BB everyone pretty much feels like they are not even from the same game.

Oki stuff is a lot more complex in BB

GG is just something that's easier to pick up and play. High level can be hard but it's mostly a reaction game over execution outside of slashbacks and FRC's and FRC's are not that hard honestly after you've been playing for a character for a few days.

I mean shit if BB is so easy to pick up if you are a GG pro just go dominate everyone with Tao then.

Can't wait. Hopefully, the fact that they are using 3D models means that we can actually stand to have things like alternate costumes and other nice things besides just more color palettes.

Still can't believe that this is on UNREAL of all things. If this represents the future of "2D" fighters, then I won't have a problem at all with it.
 
I'm amazed by how many people are honestly surprised by Bridget taking #1 in the JP poll (I saw that coming a mile away, based on his long-established popularity among the base there). Glad to see Jam made the top 10, though.

Anyway, game looks much better in motion than I thought it would.

Execution is execution and going to be hard everywhere, but committing FRC to muscle memory is mandatory in GG. Nobody forces you to master Arakune bug loops to play BB.

I can't fucking believe how good this looks. Just like that, ArcSys makes the best-looking Unreal Engine game and probably the best-looking fighting game.

Dude, FRC's are not hard and some characters don't rely on them as much.

Saying FRC's are mandatory in GG then trying to say all the high level stuff of characters in BB is not is dumb.

Eh, FRC is mostly for maximising damage. I'd say arakune bug loops are just as essential in high play.
 
Wonder if this will show up at E3, since it has english subs and everything. I could see it being part of MS' reveal or something, though not expecting any kind of exclusivity. Might be kind of soon but maybe they will show something, even if it's just Sol and Ky.

ASW was one of the early developers to get their hands on a PS4 kit. Chances are that they'll be at the Sony conference imo.
A better question would be why do glasses cost money in Arena.

I'm still working on HS Stun Edge frc. I thought it was pretty hard before but it's getting a lot easier.

And there will be new fighters, either previously non-playable characters or new ones.

Seems quite possible as well. I was just thinking it might be a cheaper opportunity for MS to try to grab Japan than say Final Fantasy. I suppose we shall see. At worst TGS should have more. I've waited so long, more months won't hurt.

Wont get hype until I know Slayer is in. Looks pretty cool though.

Considering he made top 10 most popular, I'd say it's terribly unlikely he won't make it in.
 
I want this game to live up to that old BlazBlue photoshop where a third of the screen is covered in like 40 meters.
