"Xbox Infinity" name leaked?
Not sure if this has been posted before...but its from one of the promo reels that Gametrailers has at the end of some of their videos promoting the event in less than 9 hours from now....
They actually took the reel down from many of the other videos that had it.....but as of right now, you can still see it at the end of this Pach Attack video:

Xbox Infinity has always been my favorite since two years ago it was leaked the next gen Xbox hardware team had the internal name Infinity and the software team was called Loop.

Probably the first one to be revealed
a) it's a Microsoft tradition at this point
b) it won't look as impressive as everything else that might follow
c) Call Of Duty was always revealed with gameplay at conferences

Ghosts will be a normal sp reveal trailer, not a live demo and not playable. Live demo will be done at the MS E3 conference as it has been every cod since 4.

They always have some COD gameplay ready for MS E3 pressconf. If we dont see live gameplay now, we will see it in 3 weeks.

This isn't Nintendo unveiling with Mario and Sonic at the Movies or similar shovelware.
I'd love to see Microsoft's New IPs too, but I'm willing to wait til E3 and concede there's probably a legitimate strategy involved with associating your console with COD and EA.

I honestly think gritty shooters are the worst types of games to lead an unveiling with the level of graphics we can achieve now. I mean current gen consoles are pretty good at doing dirt and rocks and gun models nowadays. Felt the same with the Killzone unveiling (even if the skyscraper pan at the beginning was pretty cool.
Really hoping Rare has a reel or something to go alongside their PGR5 announcement (if they are the ones doing it like the old rumor hinted at). Something with color please.
I would actually say that having COD or FIFA at e3 would have been better and having something right now to blow your mind so you can say 'yeah this is next gen' should have been the priority. We'll see how it turns out.
Re your first point I would consider a yearly COD or FIFA release the same as Mario games: they're expected, we all know they'll come and they tend to end up playing vastly similar to their predecessors. Still they sell millions of units though.
So close! Can't wait to finally be able to put a "face" on the machine.

This event is for the mainstream media, mostly. I'm fairly sure you'll have a next gen teaser but it's only an hour in the end. There won't even be much time for COD or EA.
Recently? I think he was parroting Larry's blog entry to Polygon, vis that this reveal will be about hardware and services, E3 will bring the games.
