>Will you excuse me please!>

I imagine he went back to his tent and listened to some Morrissey after that.

I'm pretty sure it hasn't.

Don't answer questions. If I'd asked last week "hey guiz does Robb die next week?" It wouldn't have been OK to say yes. Obviously this isn't the same level but it's the same idea.

Sorry if I'm having a go but people with exactly the same intentions as you came in here and revealed that Robb's wife was different in the show, and wasn't pregnant, which though it must have seemed harmless to them heavily hinted that her baby wasn't coming to term and she wouldn't live to be that important.

Things that you might not think will be spoilers often are.

Sorry, but you're being ridiculous. I've been answering questions like 'what happened to Aryas direwolf' and 'who made up the Northern army', not paying attention doesn't make something a spoiler.

Having read the books, for those who haven't and did not know of the events, I salute you. Everywhere I was looking on the internet for the last 2 weeks had morons who were out to spoil the fun in last nights episode.

So...could wargs be immortal as long as they move into a new body before the old one dies?

Will Bran end up being an undying parasite demon king who will rule Westeros forever?

It the books they say the soul of the warg gradually leaves the body of the animal until just the animal remains.

I think if they warg 100% into an animal, they're stuck, only humans can warg and they're no longer human. He'll have the mind of an eagle by the time the eagle is old and ready to die.

If a question is answerable from stuff in the show, people who haven't read the books can answer it. You've already made a mistake about some random Navy being mentioned in the show when it wasn't, it's better not to risk you doing it again.

Here's the other thread if you want to talk about the show.

Way too many people here have been accidentally spoiled. Why do you want to post here?

Hmmm, okay. But that wouldn't matter if Bran just keeps permawarging into other humans...

If Edmure dies, the Freys are no longer connected to the Tullys and have no claim on the Riverlands.

Ahh didn't think about that. With Edmure married to a Frey their families are bonded and Walder can use that to avoid a fight with the Tullys.

Depends on if living as an animal appeals to you.

Jojen said that Bran was the only one who could get into the minds of people.

While this episode had an impact it would have been even greater had there not been posts detailing how they can't wait for us all to react to this "Red Wedding". I knew since then there was going to be a bloodbath at a wedding. Just didn't know when.

If you're talking about details from the books, a mod should be sent round your house to personally kick you in the balls until you look like a LEGO man

Because we can enjoy this thread too:

No. Stop being a bunch of whining babies. This forum is not about segregation. Having a thread where there are specifically no book spoiler discussions is a luxury. Moderation has been fair, and a few dicks who like to be annoying doesn't make everyone who has read the books unwelcome in this thread. Don't try to beat your war drums just because a few people have been banned. Cut the drama, take a cold shower, and go lie down and relax.

Book readers are welcome in this thread as long as they follow the rules. Lots of friendly book readers want nothing more than to discuss the show with people who are watching stuff for the first time. No need to be a dick about it. If book readers are dicks about it, they get banned. This isn't some war between threads.

Understood?

I still can't over that massacre.

I just got out of an exam and it was all I could think about. It will stay with me forever.

I wonder what the show is going to divert all that time too now. The Robb/Cat part of the show was pretty big. Without it I wonder what will happen.

Not many people have mentioned this, but in terms of the structure of the show it's huge.

Does this mean that Sansa is the 'queen' of Winterfell now? O_o

A poor choice of words, perhaps. Or a deliberate joke. Who can say?

Oops.

same here mang. hopefully the hound swears fealty to her (like he did to joffrey) and they kick ass all the way up to the throne. she's the best remaining character IMO other than tyrion.

For sure. I'd probably like Tyrion more if he weren't a Lannister though :P

One thing that bothers me. It seemed that a few things tipped Cat off, and some of the red flags were justified, like the Bolton not drinking and the armored guy walking past her to shut the door. What tipped her off about the band however, because it seemed she was disturbed by what they were playing? I remember the tune from the Season 3 teaser but not its significance or relation to the event of the wedding.

i was tempted to skim through the threads to see how the reaction was because i couldnt watch it till later this morning and i'm glad i didn't. if i seen something like that it could've easily ruined the episode

Look on the bright side- there's been a decent amount of criticism (particularly towards opening episodes) towards the show for its need to visit so many storylines in a short timespan. Hopefully, eliminating one can allow the rest of the show to focus more easily and avert this issue a bit going forwards.

Who wrote that? That's straight up spoiler territory and I never saw it. I'm assuming they were banned on the spot and the comments removed?

It's "The Rains of Castamere", which is the "Don't Fuck with Tywin Lannister" song.

Cersei explained the song they started playing a couple of episodes ago

As long as they think Bran and Ryckon are dead, yes, she is I think

It's not so bad, right? When LF gets back, Tyrion will be removed from his position and can go north to take his place. Probably will demand that Sansa comes with him. Then the other northerners can kidnap her :D
If they don't kill Tyrion too, Tywin will be pissed at his failure and Tyrion will be like KILL DAT NOISE, YO and finally leave with Shae.

....
Nah most of that is way too happy.

It's the Lannister song.

the tune is a lannister song apparently, i guess its well known so catelyn recognised it. cersei was on about it on the last episode about how they brought a house who grew too powerful down

that reminds me, the season 3 soundtrack comes out tomorrow

The Rains of Castamere, which the mentioned last episode. It's the story about the complete destruction of a house that battled the Lannisters.

He wasn't following the rules. He was posting about stuff not in the books and comparing the show and the books.

I'm fine with book readers posting in here, just so long as they don't talk about plot at all. Otherwise what's the point? We'll all leave and you'll be left with yet another thread to talk about the show and the book.

It's "The Rains of Castamere", and it's a Lannister song about Lannister revenge. Cersei explained it to Margaery in the previous episode, and somewhere in the last couple of pages is a link to the awesome National "cover" of it that debuted in one of the Season 2 credits.

We'll get more Dany scenes probably.

It's the Lannister anthem. Cersei told the story to Margery like one episode.

The Starks also felt safe since they were in the Frey house and consumed their bread and salt, which is a ceremonial trust thing. The Freys betraying that trust is basically as bad as kinslaying.

The show is about how sometimes good people lose, sometimes bad people lose. And that there's no real good or bad.

That's on the surface.

Underneath, it has themes that the smallest person in the right place can make all the difference, for good or bad. Useless Sam managed to find the White Walker weakness by sheer luck. Bran, who has spent the series as a cripple, may have just found the most powerful ability in the series and could change the world.

On the flip side, King Rob Baratheon died by, well, a random boar...and by being drunk by his little squire.

Little people can change the world.

Meanwhile, Danaerys, who started off as a slave/rape victim, has slowly gained followers.

Don't think of it as a good/bad story. Think of it as a story of who can make a difference by being in the right place.

I understand that. However it's tiring to see characters built up only to kill them off after people have invested time into them. They did it with Ned, they've done it with the entire stark clan at this point. It's frustrating. They're doing all this shit with daenerys but with the way the show has gone maybe she'll get aced by season five because she stubbed her toe.
Who the fuck knows? Maybe Jon will fall down some stairs.

At this point I'm curious where the story will go but frankly my time is limited. I don't want to read things or watch shit that is constantly going to either have no pay off or make me feel like shit after. That's where I'm coming from. It doesn't help that book readers feel the need to be ingrown ass hairs and drop spoilers in here like a bunch of sociopathic assholes who get off on us show watchers being "behind". I swear to god, half of them probably browse this thread with their dicks in their hand.

ah, thank you. can't believe i totally forgot about that.

how do you know that? did i miss something or is this just a theory?

Just after he was stabbed, before Jon Snow took the sword out, his eyes rolled into the back of his head at which point his eagle (an eagle?) started attacking Jon Snow. It seems like a fair assumption that the warg is now trapped in the eagle to avoid death.

There's still the 20,000(?) Tyrell soldiers in their way, the Kingsguard, The Mountain and all of the goldcloaks in their way.

Thanks for the explanation, guys. Yes, I remember Cersei telling Marge that story. Wow, I can't believe how much of a cunt that old man is. He couldn't have the decency to kill them without deliberately foreshadowing the whole thing?
