Actually that's my only concern going into New Leaf.
With City Folk, everything being away from the town made the town feel less alive. Some of those things could have been buildings in the town. And now we don't even have the shops or museum in the town, so I hope it doesn't feel like that again.

Horrible idea. You don't want to get burned out on AC -- between each game, the introductory sequence is very similar (the ways that you make money to pay off your debt and what you can do early on are both pretty limited).
edit: Maybe not as bad as I assumed? I haven't played the game...
