Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | June 2013 | Late Ports and Late Threads

Got my Limbo for free thanks to PS3 Cross-buy.
This is one the best things Sony did this gen, cannot wait to see this awesomes during PS4 gen.

PS: I played Limbo in sony's OLED XEL-1 (11") will be cool to compare this game between those two OLED screens. XD
 
 
taking Vita to the beach. is it a good or bad idea? will be playing inside the beach shack (not under the sun) ofcouse but will the humidity of air damage it?

As long are you're far enough from the water and don't place it anywhere near the sand its OK (just ok). I've noticed that the salt from the water tends to collect on touchscreen even if you're not near the water.
 
Hello everybody. To those that came in late last night, download Toro's Friend App. Send me a friend request and I promise I will help you out by hustling during my work. And to anybody here that's on my Friend Network, have you been getting tons of XP? I try using the low level people on assignments that take hours so that you get a hefty XP bonus out of it.

(I need 15 more friends in order to buy the next area in the game, and there are 9hrs left until I go into the dungeon. Anybody here gone to the dungeon yet?)

if i was at the beach i wouldnt be playing games

but bad idea regardless

i can only imagines the sand getting into all those cracks... ugh

I'll be inside beach shack but yeah it's very close to the water and sand.

I live on an Island, beach get very boring after the first 10 years believe me(the sea is like 5 mins by car from my house so yeah I'm sick of it)

but my friends want to eat seafood and crap so I'm going there just for the free dinner.

im fine with some indie games here and there, god knows i had to buy a few to get through the slower months (mutant blobs, dokuro, escapevektor, etc)

but what is the PS4 gonna do? how does that help me with my vita? remote play? no good when your offline

your ignoring the core issue here. Its not that theres a shortage of things to play, if you wanna get technical. Its that 99% of the stuff coming out is digital only (not preferable) and not really utulizing the horsepower of the vita, which is what i wanna see

its just like the 3ds, i dont play silly old rom dumps of NES games or stuff like dillons rolling western... i bought it to play mario 3d land, RE REvelations, etc

there can absolutely be a market for both big budget RETAIL releases and indie downloadables together on one system... but when the release calendar is extremely skewed to one side, the other side is bound to complain... rightfully so

how about Muramasa, Rayman legends, Dragons Crown, Ys, Batman, Freedom Wars, or Tareaway? there are more "AAA" games coming then just killzone, complaining about indies being around to tide people over till then is silly imo. this is even morr true when we have E3 in only a few days.

Many of the indie games out now, or coming are also enhanced in someway or another, Lone Survivor as an example is getting a good amount of new content added, same with Frozen Synapse which is getting a total overhaul for its vita release. This is also ignoring the fact that we are starting to get some original indie content announced aswell. Hotline Maimi 2 is planned for a day and date release for Vita, and PC.

Im want Sony, and some third parties to announced some big titles too, but I wont complain about all of the indie love because there are allot of very talented indies outthere.

The original "roguelike platformer" is returning to the place where it all started. This summer, PC owners will be able to play the XBLA reboot of Spelunky that won the 2012 IGF "Excellence in Design" Award, as well as Game of the Year Awards from publications like Gamespot and Edge. Spelunky will launch on Steam and GOG, followed shortly by the Humble Store.

Goku, Naruto, Toriko, Luffy, Ichigo and Kenshin by Now. I hope we get more content during TGS.

Honestly can't remember without downloading. Could possibly be fixable with remapping though :) Honestly there's nothing wrong with the controls anyway. It's a good R&C game and worth a download.

It's out in the US store, not in the EU one. Bound to Europe maybe next week, maybe after summer, probably never because you know... SCEE hates Vita.

Today I feel like I'm nearing toto's levels of negativity :/ That's what store update days do to me.
