I don't think the basic mechanics of the Smash Balls should be changed. The whole point of adding them like that is to change the flow of the match if they're on. They can add some super move mechanic with smaller attacks separate from them, but the Smash Balls themselves shouldn't change. However, I really hope they balance the Final Smashes better this time. Anyone could see the heavy lack of balance of Brawl's Final Smashes.
Speaking of Ganondorf, can he actually use that sword he shows off in Melee & Brawl? He's cool & all, but maybe try to make him less of a slower, heavier Captain Falcon.
Starks is not a bountry hunter in space. In the previous games (as someone linked), Samus was in her suit in underwear. Zero Mission gave Samus a consistent and athletic-focused attire. Why can't you wear normal clothes under an armour suit?
Watch any of the Iron Man/Avengers movies, and take a look at what Tony Stark wears. He's never once shown to be wearing a skintight catsuit under the armour, it's always just regular clothes. Hell, he even has a full tuxedo on under the thing at the start of IM2.
Actually I don't care that much. I just don't want ZSamus to look like such a stereotypical fanservice character.
The ending depictions were alright for what they were. They could use the same opportunities to make her look tougher though.
don't get me wrong, moon physics and tripping are the first things that I'd like to see go. Or at least leave in a switch this time, smash has always been about having tons of options, I still wonder what the heck were they thinking.I'd be willing to take the chance, personally. Anything that would dispense with the likes of tripping and the general "floatiness" from Brawl would already make me happy.
I'm guessing most of you already have Wii U's, but for those who don't, is anyone else here willing to buy one just for a new Smash? I mean I'm excited for a lot of other games on the system, but Smash alone can make me buy a console. The games are that good.
People enjoy using Z samus.
Also why are arguing this hard, over one of the few female reps in smash. what even...
Uh yeah Interesting thing.
See, umm in the comics, he does have a suit like zero suit samus under that armor. Because he found it more convient.... also in space, like samus is he wears that kind of hing, because compression. So yeah...Remember he comes comics, comic book characters aren't exactly good references.
Because anyone who read comic books could just say
"well actually"
This with miiverse is going to be the shit
I really don't understand why you keep replying to my posts if you're not interested in engaging in an actual conversation about the issue at hand. My point that I don't particularly like Zero Suit Samus being placed into a skin tight catsuit, and that there are examples of people wearing regular clothes under armour suits in other pieces of media, isn't somehow undone by the fact that there is an Iron Man comic in which he wears something similar.
I'm not saying the character shouldn't be in the game. I'm saying that I think the character design is needlessly exploitative. It's a videogame where Captain Falcon can run Pikachu over with his F-Zero car, realistic stuff like 'compression' really isn't a factor.
It's fine that you like Zero Suit Samus being hot. My only point in the first place is that it kind of rubs me up the wrong way.
Again, this is still not an argument. People would probably enjoy a great deal of characters who didn't make it in. Particularly, I imagine people would enjoy Ridley rather more given he would likely play very differently to most other characters (heavy but flight-capable with a disjointed hitbox and aerial focus rather than ground).
Because it's not even proper female representation when you're using the same character twice! Does SSB really have a more gender-balanced roster when in order to boost the female count you're having to list the same woman twice? I'd rather sacrifice ZSS to get Palutena or Lyndis or Lucina or whoever in.
Yeah, that's why I'm pretty confident enough that we are going to get trailer in first place before Sakurai tweeted. I'm pretty pumped, but I can't let my hype go out of control until Monday morning or I wouldn't survive.![]()

because she anticipates the possibility of loosing the suit, so if it happens she can retain maximum agility that way.
Uh those character different move sets, and you are complaining about the same character twice?

Same. Marth fucking sucks. "Marth" is awesome, though.
You... might want to edit that until I understand what you mean. :3
Actually, the Smash Balls need to go, but we still need to have Final Smashes. I just hate how the Smash Ball mechanic rewards randomness, but I love the idea of characters having an ultimate move.
reply to me, since you want an actual conversation about this critical issue.
It's not exploitative, it just. makes. sense. It's really that simple. If anything, Metroid deserves praise for getting it right - unlike the Iron Man movies. I'm all for discussing the "sexism in video games" issue and stuff, but this is reaching 19th century puritan levels and not helping at all.I really don't understand why you keep replying to my posts if you're not interested in engaging in an actual conversation about the issue at hand. Nope. And anyone claiming he's bad doesn't know how to properly edge guard with his d air and u air. Especially when you know how to use his d air stomp. Shit kills for free on folk. Plus the folks I see that lose with him are always trying to dash with him. Use his d tilt and side b to get in man! Folks gotta come to you since your a heavy dont play him like Fox! Besides he has inescapable side b combos. Figure up your damage based on that.
He rewards patient punish footsie folks and thats what I'm all about.
She shouldn't look "just fit", but outright muscular. Based on her story, she should look like a fighter and less like a model.Uh explain.
You mean fit lady, which sense because her tainng and her having move around in that suit.
and in skin tight clothes, because constrains the suit, and space.
What the hell are you talking about?
Stormy Shore seems like a rather iconic level Nintendo likes to show a lot. The one with the giant squid, Squiddicus, tearing about the pirate ships and such.I'd like to see a DK stage from RETURNS
Lots to choose from

Anyone saying smash balls should go might as well say no items or anything in the game at all.
It's simple enough to turn off items if that's how you play. I like smash balls for when me and my buds aren't trying to take it so seriously.
Well, Namco-Bandai is a huge team so I think the production of Smash will be faster than Brawl's.
Also First Brawl trailer were shown when they only worked on the game for 7 months. SSB4 had about 12-14 months in production.
I'm sorry, but again you're focusing on a weird concept of 'realism' in a place where it's really uncalled for. Smash Bros is probably the single least realistic game series in existance. Why would Captain Falcon wear his scalf, or Marth have a cape, if they're need to worry about mobility, etc? It's a silly, dumb fighting game, realism is thrown out of the window. Everyone would die in seconds on Lylat Cruise if the game was 'realistic', they're all walking around in space completely unprotected.
Anyway, I'm going to drop it, since I feel like I'm de-railing the thread. I just dislike the character design of Zero Suit Samus is all!

Anyways, I really want Fusion Samus as her main build in SSB4. Feel free to go crazy over that too.

Jimmy T is my favorite WarioWare character and I definitely want him in, but..Nah man Jimmy T
![]()
Jimmy T should replace waluigi in everything
Based on design alone I'd rather get Medusa.UNACCEPTABLEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Playable character or GTFO
They can change his moveset for all I careBut unlike Sonic Dillon only rolls for one move.
Skyward Sword stage?

I'd be okay with that![]()
