No, him saying that is a pivotal day for him as a gamer/consumer and then mentioning both consoles I took to mean that Sony is going in the opposite direction of Microsoft. He wouldn't have commented otherwise as a Sony employee.

RE4 is by far the best RE game and a top 5 game of all time. The old RE games were excellent as well. Both styles are great. RE5 was a fantastic action game. RE6 was a mess but fun.

Being scary is not the determining factor if a game is good or not.

If Sony is smart they wont. I seriously can't think of a more "handed on a silver platter" opportunity in the history of video games. Sony can walk on stage, announce no DRM, they win E3, the hearts of millions, and the console generation right there. They wouldn't even have to show any games after that.

As much as I love Uncharted and MGS, favorite Playstation game is Kingdom Hearts. That game literally changed my perception of video games as a middle school kid and made me into the hardcore gamer I am today. Just sad the next few games never quite reached that height.
