Metal Gear Solid 2 - My favorite game of all time, still, more than a decade later. I played it on the PS2 back then. It was mind-blowing. I enjoyed gaming a lot before then, I gamed a lot even, but that game is what made me so fascinated with the medium as a whole. The themes and underlying messages seem to get more and more relevant as time passes by and things become more digital and connected. One of the few games from the past that stand up just as well today.

Favorite series... ooof that's rough. I'm going to get some flak for it, but I'm going to go with this gen only (I don't want to dwell on it) and I'm going to go with Killzone.

I thought 2 was amazing, with fantastic multi-player, then I thought 3 with move support, 3D, and also amazing multi-player (for the first 2 months anyway) were just fantastic. Not the most creative stories, but gorgeous presentation, great implementation of features, brilliant sound team (so overlooked these days), and the fact that they really push the hardware give them a top spot for me.

Really looking forward to Shadows Fall, I love that they're a good combination of tech junkies, and super passionate about their lore (even if most of the world isn't).

Infamous a close second.

I guess I missed the E3 news bits where Shane Bettenhausen was blown away by something being shown next week, and another analyst out there says "we"(his company?) believes that Sony will aim to keep the prices point below $400.

So, We might be blown away as well by something shown next week, and might be able to afford to buy the system, and at least a game at a reasonable(or more than reasonable) price.

Next week is big. Between E3, and Man of Steel, .. well.. Let's just say I might need to take some sleeping pills.
