They are right in that I'm not entirely sure what this Christmas' big blockbuster is, especially with next-gen launch. Maybe Killzone ShadowFall will really surprise, or Watch_Dogs will do for Ubi what Assassins Creed so mysteriously did despite being total shit to start.
I also was disappointed by no Rising mention for GOTY list. You curs. I guess neither even touched Dark Arisen either.

Thats fine, everyone has a different opinion. Kyle seemed very interested in the nintendo games like kart and smash, and marcus to be fair, really isnt a japanese game fan ( anymore) so I understand his position ( I dont have to agree but I understand)

I think problem with me is that really the only Nintendo games that I really love is Mario and Smash. And I completed 3D Land year ago already so yeah. Sometimes I like Zelda alright, I liked Wind Waker and TP but the new LTTP is not really hitting with me but if it gets a great reception I probably will check it out. For whatever reason I can't get into OOT3D.
I certainly am big on japanese games tho. The main reason I had to get 3DS was Dream Drop Distance and I think Theathrythm is excellent fun. Bravely Default is the game I am most looking foreward to.
Fire Emblem has my interest for the 3DS games that have come out to be sure but I really have had no time for much additional games between PS3-Vita so I'll just wait till it gets cheap to see what all the talk is about.
My 3DS would probably get wayyyyyyy more playtime if I could just transfer my VC games from my Wii to it ;-;.

The other part of the video: With regard to the no new announcements thing is what people fail to understand is via directs, we get announcements every month now basically. So instead of having nothing all year and saving it for E3, thats what they do now.
If you take every direct from jan to now, and see what new announcements we got its insane

The last game I bought was NSMB2. And I was done with it in 6 hours.
I never liked FireEmblem and LM2 also doesn't appeal to me.
Other than that there wasn't much in the last 10 months.

The self-effacement establishes the tone of the show, he's just a bloke who can do his job without becoming a desperate asshole. It's the voice he chooses and the understanding that he's talking to his audience in a friendly manner that gives The Final Bosman its unique charm. He doesn't get behind a podium and hector us or the games we play until his ego is sufficiently puffed up to cram a pun down our throats. There are plenty of Jim Sterlings and Ben Croshaws and James Rolfes and Egoraptors getting all the attention on that end of the web personality spectrum. Kyle is like that friend of mine who reminds me it's okay to really like something even if it's not always made with my interests in mind. Banishing any pretense of authority and not sinking into cheap, easy and cruel hyperbole is the real joy of watching this series, the little riff about being wrong most of the time plays well in that context.

I think i've figured it out.
I registered an account with their site so I can download the MP4 files to watch in VLC so I can avoid their shitty web player.
GT got me to register an account with them. I see their plan now.

When set to Progressive it does load better, but it still maxes at a 2.20 Mb Bitrate. The download version is 3.5 Mb Bitrate.
I get superber HD quality without any lag or stutter when I download the file.
I have all that and I still get random buffer issues, that fix themselves in Explorer instead of FF, and going from fullscreen to normal makes some videos go completely black until I refresh. Jumping to xx:xx is also impossible without letting the video buffer to that point first (same issue on gb.com). The player is not good.

Kyle is great fun to watch. Even his take on the slightly cringeworthy live E3 skit was entertaining and felt genuine. Looking forward to seeing him and Beer team up - a nice rounded yin and yang for gaming opinions.

Never seen "Annoyed Gamer" before, but from that GT Combo show, he sounds more like Annoying Gamer.
I know that's his schtick, but throw in some self-deprecating jokes once in a while so it doesn't look like you're only making fun of Kyle at his expense.

I'm not really a fan of Marcus and Kyle working together. Marcus is the type that just speaks without planning much of anything, while Kyle is meticulous in making sure he doesn't waste 1 second of our time. I'm a fan of the latter, and I'm not sure Marcus has the patience to allow for it.

Not to quibble with the scoring too much, but the naked sushi girls on the CGI Watch_Dogs trailer certainly count as "practically bare breasts in the Ubisoft conference" to me.
Weren't there also "practically bare breasts" on the mermaids in the AC4 part? I swear I saw mermaids, or at least "practically bare breasted" women swimming by the boat in some video.
