I was almost always oblivious to THEIR advances rather than vice versa. Been in a longterm relationship now though so it's irrelevant at this point.

I don't think that's what this thread is about...

If she's pretty much saying "COME HAVE SEX WITH ME" in some subtle way while stripping down to her underwear, I think that's kind of obvious it's something more than friends.
 
When I was 19, I asked out this girl from college to go out to a comedy show and then some dinner in the city.

She said yes, gave me her number, AIM, email, etc. Awesome. She would IM me numerous times leading up to our day. During dinner we were having a conversation, and there was this huge candle in front of us on the table. The flame was kind of bothering me, so I told her "sorry, this thing is in my face, I'm not the biggest fan of open flames and candles".

So I put the candle out. And she says:

Her: Well, you'll have to get used to lit candles everywhere.
Me: Why's that?
Her: Because I have them everywhere in my bedroom.

So a few days later, I asked her out officially...and she said I got the wrong idea. And, me, feeling pissed off and confused explained to her how exactly is it the wrong idea when you invite me point blank into your bedroom, complete with lit candles, during our first time hanging out?

I messed up just as bad as Jason, though for different reasons. I knew this girl who was/is gorgeous. I would say the average guy would rate her a 9-10. We met at the club, fooled around for a while. At one point I started refusing her advances because my gut was telling me that she MAY have been using me and/or trying to get with me just to satisfy her ego. And because a bunch of her friends were really into me: three of her friends were hitting on me around the same time.

It was so misleading because it made me look like this incredible ladies man, even though I was sitting at home on weekends playing games and had never been laid until shortly after that. The girl is still around but she makes it somewhat obvious that she really hates me, lol. So yeah, I rejected her quite a few times in various ways. She's just as beautiful as Jason's girl. NO REGRETS, however!

I'm not saying that I do that, I'm trying to prove a point to you. Just because a girl asks to come over to your place to stay doesn't mean she wants to fuck you. If you value yourself enough to believe that then maybe I'm not the one who should be getting out more?
