Really I have no idea why yourself and DC are always going on about EDS and bringing in youth prospects like Will Hughes or Adam Maher. It's never going to happen. Mega-wealthy owners do sit idly by for several seasons waiting for teenagers to develop. Even if Pellegrini really wanted to do a slow build, all that would happen is you bring in some of these players, City fail to improve, owner loses patience and sacks manager and a new guy comes in who promptly spends big to replace the youngsters. 21, 22 year old players, sure, but younger than that and they just won't be good enough unless they are of the greatest talent.
