If you bought a digital copy of fire emblem and it automatically registered, is it valid for this? Even if you forgot the survey?
This is really awesome, surprised to see Nintendo doing this. Gotta start that SMT x Fire Emblem hype somewhere I suppose!
Of course I can't find my damn Fire Emblem box now agh
And club Nintendo codes usually don't come with third party 3DS games which is why I ask since SMTIV does come with one. Oh well no big deal really.
hrm, this is weird. I bought a 3DS, bought a digital copy of FEA and then linked the system to my Club Nintendo account but my history looks like this
![]()
My digital FEA is nowhere to be seen :
Stated in the OP, but yes, it's a code that can be redeemed either on Wii U or 3DS.Is Eshop credit available for use for Wii U as well?
"Sign into Club Nintendo and complete your registration surveys by August 31st."
Uhh... I didn't do my product registration survey/ post play survey (don't really care about coins) and now those are expired for FE:A... but my Product registration is complete...
Do I really need those surveys for FE:A? Is product registration enough?
Well, it's doubtful you'll be able to finish any of them before SMT4 comes out, but if you're gonna play one I say Nocturne (SMT3) on PS2. Strange Journey on DS is good as well and also a 'mainline' SMT game, but the dungeons are first person and kinda annoying later on. SMT4 has third person exploration like Nocturne.
While they're wonderful games, playing the first two titles before any others is a good way to put you off the franchise for quite a while. I suggest playing Nocturne first.
Product registration is enough. It does not specify that you also need to complete the post-play surveys.
So I don't have a Club Nintendo account, but I'm gonna make one now for this.
Is there a time limit for registering games? Can I still register Wii games?
Stated in the OP, but yes, it's a code that can be redeemed either on Wii U or 3DS.
There's no time limit for registering eligible games. Yeah, you can register wii games but make sure it's eligible for coins since not all wii games are eligible. You can check the site to see if your games are eligible or not.
Phew. I thought I was screwed for my lack of care for Nintendo Club Coins. The wording made it sound like you had to do those product registration surveys.
Wait, I'm not understanding the wording of your statement.
Just wanting to make sure:
Backing up, when you bought Fire Emblem, did you enter the Club Nintendo code into your account and complete that first survey? If so, no worries. As long as you complete that first survey you're alright. That was the product registration survey.
Alright, got an email back about my expired FE survey and it's good news!
Hello,
Thanks for writing.
I am able to confirm that you will qualify for the promotion as long as both games are registered to your Club Nintendo account before 8/31/13. Your expired survey(s) will not effect your eligibility.
Sincerely,
Nintendo of America Inc.

I guess you really don't need to do the surveys?![]()

Great, I remember seeing those tickets in Skyward Sword and Xenoblade, so that's good that I didn't need to register them within like a year of release or something. There's no time limit for registering eligible games. Yeah, you can register wii games but make sure it's eligible for coins since not all wii games are eligible. You can check the site to see if your games are eligible or not.
Thanks for the tip. Good idea.Or you could just look in the boxes for a code. The ones with codes are eligible.
Here's a tip for CN newbies. If you have a crapload of games don't register them all. Once you hit Platinum for the year then save your extras for the following year (unless there's a reward you really want).
I'm fine with first person dungeons. In fact Grimrock has made me seek out more recent games like that (I'd get Soul Hackers or Etrian Odyssey if I had the time).
Why? What's up with them?
Old and hard, basically.
So it works in Canada and my retail copy of Fire Emblem applies? You win, Atlus.
SMT4 is a good enough place to start, right?

So when does SMT IV come out?
Next Tuesday.
