Infamous second son new screens

Well if you would grab a screen from TloU cutscene and say it's a screenshot of the game, you would be misleading people.

Anyways this bickering would've been prevented if the op just said "new bullshots". It's not like many developers release real screenshots anyways.

Or maybe if people didn't come into threads crying "bullshot" like it means anything and hoping to derail the thread? Nah let's blame the OP.

zoukka is probably right they cleaned up the images some, if that's what he means by bullshots. But who gives a shit, it's not like the revelation means anything considering we've all seen the game in motion and it's already super clean and these shots are fairly representative of what we'll get. It's just been cleaned up ever so incrementally further.

And considering that it still has many months of development left and as everyone knows the last level of visual polish tends to come on at the end, inFamous: Second Son is clearly just made to impress. And it's a first year PS4 title! It's astonishing what the PS4 and XBO should be able to push out once cross gen shenanigans finally end.

FWIW: these are 100% realtime screens from gameplay. But don't take my word for it, go watch the e3 gameplay reveal.

Face looks real there. Amazun'

You actually went and screencapped some footage because of me? Hook, line & sinker bro. Hook. Line. Sinker.

What's funny is people are going out of their way to explain to you why it isnt a bullshot and you just basically dismissing them and not really backing up your points.

Definitely the game I'm most excited for at this point. Not surprising given Infamous 2's massive improvements on the PS3.

Underrated team in my opinion.

Real excited to play this game. Hopefully that Sony launch window isn't as wide as Nintendo's.

Same here. I wish it were one of the playable demos at this week's ComicCon, but I can see how Sony would rather hype people up with games that will likely be available right at (or within a month of) launch as opposed to something that won't be around until early 2014. Can't wait to play the next inFamous installment and given what a fucking Boss Troy Baker is in the acting department, looking forward to seeing how he fleshes out Delsin.

seeing as those screens and gameplay capture screens pretty much look identical I don't see why people are going crazy over this...
probably not bullshots

these are bullshots...

edit: second image forbidden but to people who played UNS you probably get the picture

I wouldn't be surprised if the cutscenes were real-time in this game. I can't notice any difference in lighting or image quality between cutscenes and gameplay from what we've seen.

that was more target renders than anything lol

Also unlike the others UNS1 is still the best looking UNS game

#teamREAL

These images have the same quality of E3 gameplays.

i was so pumped for that game

turned out to be a good looking fart

No, the image with the brothers talking I said was clearly not gameplay. That looks like a cutscene which is in engine but not gameplay.

Meh, I've just been baiting people from the beginning anyway because it's waaay too easy.

I like how you're acting like some coolguy by pretending you don't care, then you try to cover your ass by claiming you're doing some (really lame) trolling. Stay cool Junior!

Yeah, bro. Totally mad. Seething.

I'm not sure what entertainment you get out of this but I suppose you thought it was worth it...

I wonder how many people from the Suckerpunch team is ready this thread and laughing/shanking their heads.

Probably just motivating them to prove people here wrong. Kind of weird to call bullshots at the start of a new generation when there's no baseline for what good AA will look like. To me, the screens look no different than a lot of PC screens so I'm not going to 100% say bullshots when it's impossible to know at this point with very few examples of next-gen games and their AA.

Bullshots. Still very nice looking though.

Having actually seen the game in person, displayed on a big screen TV, running on PS4 hardware, it really does look that good. Better, in motion, actually. Sucker Punch has done a fantastic job with Second Son.

Looks a bit sterile and washed out. Or is this just the style of the game?

I remember the first two Infamous games having more warmer graphics.

GatDamn I wish this was a launch title. It looks so good.

Open World/Sand Box = this gens FPS I hope. I love sandbox so much more than FPS. You can craft an amazing single player experience while still being fairly sandboxy and giving the illusion of player control.

Where did you see it? Not doubting, just curious.

Yea, I'm really hoping they become a little more frequent. I still like some FPS games, but nothing beats exploring a whole new world meant to be picked apart piece by piece. Of course, only certain developers can even make a convincing enough open world that feels alive and uniquely crafted in all areas and not just a big empty environment with just a lot of reused assets and not a lot of unique areas to explore. Infamous 2 improved so much over the first game in that area that I can't wait to see Seattle and what they could do with good hardware.

Well, considering that almost everything announced for next-gen so far is an open world game, you just might get your wish.

I hope the city is not lifeless and dull. That is my concern for these open-world games, especially after playing Infamous 1 and GTA4.

That's my only issue with open world games. Not enough NPC's going about their business. Maybe we won't have that problem anymore.
