For an open worldish game, I'll give it a pass. The pop in is what concerns me the most.
Yeah, how dare a game 9 months from release show pop-in on a console that the devs thought was going to have 4GB of RAM during development.

Where did you see it? Not doubting, just curious.
It never ceases to amaze me the insane particle effects going on in this game. Particles are just coming out of every orifice every millisecond in inFamous: Second Son.
Gameplay looked exactly the same. Like, exactly.
That's my only issue with open world games. Not enough NPC's going about their business. Maybe we won't have that problem anymore.
Yea, I'm really hoping they become a little more frequent. I still like some FPS games, but nothing beats exploring a whole new world meant to be picked apart piece by piece. Of course, only certain developers can even make a convincing enough open world that feels alive and uniquely crafted in all areas and not just a big empty environment with just a lot of reused assets and not a lot of unique areas to explore. Infamous 2 improved so much over the first game in that area that I can't wait to see Seattle and what they could do with good hardware.
Well, considering that almost everything announced for next-gen so far is an open world game, you just might get your wish.

I like the clean look and clearly next gen, but for me it doesn't look as good as some people made out.
Even the video, some nice effects, but the levels seemed empty, the city was clearly unfinished and also empty in the background. This can improve of course.
I went to E3 this year, and waited in line for the Sucker Punch Second Son demonstration.
if you're gonna slap a 6 MB GIF on the thread you could at least give us a bit of context. what is it? is that from the I:SS trailer or what?

Idiots who say they aren't buying a game because of pop in are full of shit and were never planning on buying the game or PS4.

I think it's becuase I know it'll play like inFamous. And my last GTA experience was GTA IV.
Gotta say. This game is actually more exciting to me, than GTA V.... I feel bad saying it, but something about it.

Bullshots. Still very nice looking though.

Looks a bit sterile and washed out. Or is this just the style of the game?
I remember the first two Infamous games having more warmer graphics.
Oh nice.. Did you enjoy playing it?
so good.
Hey, I'm not knocking it, I just hope it doesn't have that much pop in. I wouldn't begin to speculate why, but sometimes these issues just aren't fixed. This game is pretty much the only thing I want to play from the PS4 lineup so far so I'm going to be harder on it because of that
I'm starting to think that maybe only XBONE fanboys know who I am.
You better be able to drive those cars. You can't make such pretty cars and not allow the player to drive them
That's the least I'm expecting from a PS4 game running at 30FPS. I'm not incredible impressed as of now either.
I don't think these are bullshots at all.
My biggest concern so far is, where the hell is everyone (and their cars)? It's so sparse.
Umm, where has it been definitely said that it was running at 30 fps? Footage looks very, very smooth to me.
